Hawk Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Some Great, some suck. Only listing players from Buffalo/Rochester areas. Tom Askey Les Kuntar Jack Brownschidle Jeff Brownschidle Ryan Callahan Rory Fitzpatrick Nick Foligno Brian Gionta Pat Kaleta Pat Kane Tim Kennedy Mike Lalor Todd Marchant Aaron Miller Peter Ratchuk Marty Reasoner Peter Scamurra Lee Stempniak Looks Like a pretty good defense, And 2 good forward lines, but poor goaltending.
BetweenThePipes00 Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Wasn't Phillipe Sauve born in Buffalo? He'd be in thegoaltending mix .... also the Orpik borthers may not have been born in Buffalo but certainly gre up playing hockey there.

He played for the Canes when they punk'd us. Edit: Kevyn Adams
inkman Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Don't forget Jason Bosignore. Everyone else has!
Hawk Posted October 15, 2009 Author Report Posted October 15, 2009 Eric Cole I was trying to not go any farther than Roch. He was Oswego born. Otherwise I would have included Connelly

LabattBlue Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Even if all these players were in their prime, I'm guessing this "dream team" is not making the playoffs. No goaltending and after Kane and Gionta, not much scoring.

korab rules Posted October 16, 2009 Report Posted October 16, 2009 There is a kid from Ithaca, too. Can't remember his name. Was it the Aaron miller in you list? Edit: nope. Dustin Brown, plays for the kings.

Isn't Mike Lalor from the wrong side of the river to count as a WNY product?
Foligno's Nose Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 Ryan Sittler. Wasn't Marcus Foligno born in Buffalo? It would not be unreasonable to include the Sabres TV market. How about players from St. Catherines and Fort Erie. I always wanted them to get Rick Tocchet over the years. Randy Burridge played here for a couple seasons.
matter2003 Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Even if all these players were in their prime, I'm guessing this "dream team" is not making the playoffs. No goaltending and after Kane and Gionta, not much scoring. we would set an NHL record for most goals allowed in a single season....
