zow2 Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 5-1 after two, nice!!!! Anyone know what happened to Vanek after he scored the 5th goal?
Figster Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 When the Sabres outscore the Bills, you know somethings going good and somethings gone bad.
SCSabresFan! Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 I must say listening to Rick has been enjoyable tonight. Say what you will about the guy, but he can call a good hockey game.
Calvin Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 5-1 after two, nice!!!! Anyone know what happened to Vanek after he scored the 5th goal? on Vs. they just said they had no idea.. looked like he was grimacing and holding his left arm
gregkash Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 I must say listening to Rick has been enjoyable tonight. Say what you will about the guy, but he can call a good hockey game. does anyone say anything bad about rick? he's untouchable.
Calvin Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 on Vs. they just said they had no idea.. looked like he was grimacing and holding his left arm uh oh, out for the game.. 'upper body injury'..
darksabre Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Vanek will not return. Sounds like it's no big deal though.
Calvin Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 uh oh, out for the game.. 'upper body injury'.. hopefully it's just precautionary..
shrader Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 uh oh, out for the game.. 'upper body injury'.. Looked like a shoulder to me based on his arm position when leaving, but I have no clue how it happened.

shrader Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 That's the first of one of the Sabres favorite moves on the season. They always score when I'm in the kitchen putting my dinner together. It never fails.
darksabre Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 I like what Kaleta can do behind the net. He's a good setup man.
Ohiofan Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 That's the first of one of the Sabres favorite moves on the season. They always score when I'm in the kitchen putting my dinner together. It never fails. For me, it seems they always score while I'm walking to the house from my car, where I'm listening to XM, and before I can get inside to the tv. I've got a couple of kids so I'm going back and forth car/house a lot.
Wacka Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 I'm in the SF area, so I don't hear much except what I watch or listen to on the internet. IS Peters sitting this year, in the minors, or out of the organization. Don't care where he is, just want to know.
gregkash Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 they've scored twice tonight while i was on the phone with my parents... sorry everyone, not talking to them THAT much.
K-9 Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Am I hallicinating that Kaleta has more than a modicum of offensive skill? GO SABRES!!!

But hey, if it guarantees goals, I might consider it.
tulax Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Am I hallicinating that Kaleta has more than a modicum of offensive skill? GO SABRES!!! On a night when Connolly and MacArthur are crashing the net, I would say anything is possible.
Calvin Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 6-2 hold strong boys, keep playing hard.. don't let up
matter2003 Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Who the hell are these guys?!?!? And what have they done to our Sabres???
Ohiofan Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 See, your situation is so much better. I'd rather not gain about 50 lbs during hockey season. But hey, if it guarantees goals, I might consider it. Shrader, 50lbs is a small sacrifice to make for the team man! Do it for the team!!
... Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Come on, boys, hang on to the lead! I hope it's precautionary for Vanek as well. No sense in keeping him out there with two goals already and a big lead if he has a boo-boo.
