shrader Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Tendon damage. Another achilles? Those fluke skate cut injuries seem to be getting more common.
Two or less Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Too bad for Montreal. The play seemed so carefree. Even the announcers didn't know how Markov got hurt on that play. Jaro Spacek needs to step up now, i thought he had a pretty poor game last night. His shots looked like Alex Zhitnik and he made a pretty big mistake on Toronto's 2nd goal.

Pigeon seemed like a good guy, but he was just OK as a defenseman. He was very average in his 1st year with the sabres -- and he's now 3 years older. I'm not expecting much from him this year.
That Aud Smell Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 i won't celebrate such a key injury to a divisional opponent. no, really, hockey gods -- i am not happy about this at all. seriously -- no joy here. nothing to see, hockey gods, please move along. and can we please preserve that deal we made to allow connolly to play 65+ games.

Two or less Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 Despite him being on my sabrespace fantasy team, i'm not gonna lose any sleep over his injury, as i'm sure nobody in Montreal cared when Miller and Vanek went out last year.
