... Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 Yuck. End of the first and the Sabres are picking up where they left off last March. It's here: http://www.atdhe.net/
Eleven Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Yuck. End of the first and the Sabres are picking up where they left off last March. It's here: http://www.atdhe.net/ It is on, and I"m looking for some Buffalo sports vindication. Announcer just mentioned that the Sabres' PP is 1-24 on the season. Pathetic. Oops, make that 2-24 (Vanek just put the Sabs ahead). Still not good enough.
millbank Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Hey 3-3. Leafs taking it easy on them i suspect.... Got to rest up for team bonding party... :nana: It is on, and I"m looking for some Buffalo sports vindication. Announcer just mentioned that the Sabres' PP is 1-24 on the season. Pathetic. wjag Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Gerbe wants to stay.. Kennedy looks good too..
repster Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Back and forth they go. Leafs looked like they woke the Sabres up and then they relaxed and the Leafs have picked it up. The guys on the bubble in the forward ranks seem to all be contributing...Myers got caught on the 4th goal.
... Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 Wowzers. What did I say? Just like March 2009.
nobody Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 I'm cursed today. All the Buffalo teams, I apologize. I see 4 TO goals and 0 Sabres goals. I do hear the Bills trick TD but I only see all the NO scores after that. I should just go to bed now.
SabresFan526 Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Hecht with a wraparound goal. 4-4. I think Hecht will have a much better year this year, just my opinion. Can't be much worse than last year.
SabresFan526 Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Kennedy on a really nice pass from MacArthur on the rush on a 3-on-2. 5-4 Buffalo. Beautiful pass by MacArthur.
... Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 Montador is looking better tonight. Kennedy is on fire. But...BUT...the Sabres defensive play still sucks.
nobody Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 See - I stop watching and the Sabres score 2.
Eleven Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Hecht with a wraparound goal. 4-4. I think Hecht will have a much better year this year, just my opinion. Can't be much worse than last year. Correct.
... Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 Myers...had that worked it would have been glorious.
K-9 Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Is it just me or does Tallinder LOOK like he's actually playing to get waived? GO SABRES!!!
X. Benedict Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Is it just me or does Tallinder LOOK like he's actually playing to get waived? GO SABRES!!! He's looked lost...but in fairness....this isn't a great night for d pairings.
nobody Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Is it just me or does Tallinder LOOK like he's actually playing to get waived? GO SABRES!!! He knows the Sabres will never eat his contract so it doesn't matter. Then he'll go sign a contract in the KHL.
... Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 I have to say, I'm a little surprised by Hecht. Has he been with Vanek, and I think Roy, all night? Addendum: Hecht on the PP looked good. Uhm...wow?
nobody Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Roy actually took a shot! OK! I didn't see TO's 5th and I saw Vanek and Ellis score. The curse is over!
... Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 Myers with that reach - he can become a brick wall back there very fast. And someone needs to keep Lalime away from the crack pipe during the second intermissions.
X. Benedict Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 I want to see Kennedy on this roster. Gerbe plays a nice game behind the net. Myers can really skate for a big guy --- it's almost freakish. I looked away there for a bit, but it looked like he took a shift at wing. I'm not really sure what should happen to Paille - MacArthur's game through the preseason has looked much more composed than years past. Weber hasn't distinguished himself. Lalime's going down pretty early...hope it isn't a habit.
... Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 And I was giving Hecht some props - he was alright until that dumb icing. Fortunately it didn't cost them the game. Yeah, I'd like to see Myers and Kennedy on the roster. Both these guys have stood out over the preseason.
