I'd suggest adding Rivet/Lydman to best pair -- that's what I would've voted for.

I voted for Lydman and would have voted for the pairing of Lydman/Rivet. Instead, I went with Lydman/Sekera.

Rivet is the best D-man in my opinion. The best pairing is Rivet and Butler.

 

Rivet appears to be a solid mentor to the younger d-men making them all better in the process.

I'm going to wait to chime in on the poll until after the game. I still haven't made up my mind who on D I like best. Presently, I'm kind of a Butler fan, but, ya know, we have the entire off-season to shake off first.

I just want it known that I have a huge for Chris Butler at the moment. I can't get over his wristers from the point.

I think they make a pill for that.

Not because they currently are the best. Because for the sake of the franchise they need to be in the very near future. If they can lock down the top pairing that would go a long way towards returning this team to a being a legit contender.

Butler/Myers would be my choice. Perhaps not in this very moment because they are not yet tested enough, but moving forward they will be our rock pairing that should see some all star games together.

I love the idea, but there's no way they'll see all star games together. There aren't enough slots on the blueline for two guys from the same team. That pretty much only happens if they're voted in.

Our pet name for Sekera.

 

I heard Patches call Butler "Butts" last night during the game. :blush:

Shakira, Patches and Butts...how lovely.

 

I want guys with nicknames like Tiger, Killer, Baby Stomper!
