wonderbread Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Toronto looked good last night against the Pens last night. Jordan Stahl got decked by Komeserik. The leafs ended up winning in the shoot out. They are a lot more aggressive this year. Game on NHL network!
buffalonian Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Is there anyway to watch this game online?
buffalonian Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 I appreciate that. Does that site normally stream the games? i have to find a new source of watching the sabres now that I am no longer in buffalo
repster Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Look for some heavyweight tilts tonight. McCormick, Cowan and Montador are all in the lineup against the Goons - uh, Leafs. OK, I know McCormick is probably the only heavyweight here, but the other guys like to drop the gloves too.
jwcolour Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 I appreciate that. Does that site normally stream the games? i have to find a new source of watching the sabres now that I am no longer in buffalo Yeah usually it does... if not theres a few other sites though I think some use the same stream... for instance im watching the Yankees on www.p2p4u.net they should have the game tonight as well
jwcolour Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Camera on helmet? Pommer and Miller?
jwcolour Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Nice fight McCormick landed some good ones.
Stoner Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 NHL Network is blacked out for me. I'm in the Sabres TV market. Why is sabres.com promoting the fact that the game is on NHLN if you can't watch it in Buffalo?
SabresFan526 Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 I'm glad to see Lindy go with a line of Hecht-Gaustad-Grier. I'm really excited about this line. I think we've finally found a shutdown line that matches up against every team's top line. We haven't had one since Drury left, and I think this line is going to be that line. They've looked really good so far tonight. I'm really excited about this line.

Stoner Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 You do know that the internet works outside of Buffalo, right? :nana: Sure, but maybe a note about a local blackout would have been nice for the majority of fans who do live in and around Buffalo. I don't get it. Whose local broadcast is the blackout protecting?
wjag Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Pominville looks like Kazoo with that camera on his helmet
repster Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Sabres carried the play in the first. When your top scorers like Vanek and Connolly aren't playing, the Leafs goalie can be made to look real good. I liked the fact that Montador was getting the puck on the net on the powerplay and you hardly ever see a Sabres defenceman sneak in from the point. That would have been a real nice goal. Hecht looked like he was working hard on the penalty kill.
shrader Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Pominville looks like Kazoo with that camera on his helmet I'm assuming you mean Gazoo? I had no idea that people mix that one up until I heard it a couple weeks ago.
ROC Sabres Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Macdonald is looking pretty good in goal. I'm liking the speed and aggressiveness on the fore check. Keeping the puck at their end quite a bit.
carpandean Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 When your top scorers like Vanek and Connolly aren't playing Using the NHL's definition of "scorer" (which I dislike), Derek Roy has been their top scorer for two years.
wjag Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Buffalo PP Delayed Penalty. Paetsch from high slot Buffalo:  Toronto:
repster Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Nice blast from the point by Patches. That can't be his nickname can it?
jwcolour Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 I'm going to knock on wood but they look really good apart from a few drives to the net by the leafs.
repster Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Give a honk for the Goose! Is that getting old?

Goose with the goal with assists from Hecht and Grier. I absolutely love this line. This is going to be a great line for Buffalo this year. Seriously!
jwcolour Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Maybe I shouldn't have said that... but miller had that played perfectly if the guy DOESNT fan on it its probably a save
spndnchz Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Penalty shot Loafs, score 2-1 Sabres. I'd say Myers got the puck first, before the trip.
