darksabre Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 Both Buffalo teams embarassed themselves this weekend... Miserable.. But at least there is hope for the Sabres. The Bills are a disgrace. Why do people still watch these games?
LabattBlue Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 Could have had Brian Cushing at draft time... 3 tackles 7 assists, 1 sack and 1 int TODAY. Instead we got tweener Maybin who hasn't come close to those stats for the ENTIRE SEASON.
Eleven Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 But at least there is hope for the Sabres. The Bills are a disgrace. Why do people still watch these games? Because it's great background noise for housecleaning, reading a book, cooking, doing a crossword, drinking, whatever. If it's the focus of someone's Sunday, well, it's time to rediscover those three hours.
Bmwolf21 Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 Their games are nearly unwatchable. Got up and went into work in the middle of the third quarter today. If I were paying for the Sunday Ticket I'd lose my freaking mind. I could watch the exact same thing -- crappy "pro" football -- for free on Cleveland's local stations. Does Bobby April stay up all night thinking of these trick plays? Next time how aobut a triple reverse with a pass to the punter? If Bobby does, he's the only coach staying up late trying to come up with some offense. This is the worst O I've seen in a long time.
deluca67 Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 Boomer " No offense by the Buffalo Bills but a heckuva lot of defense". Byrd is a ball hawk.. He's got Ed Reed hands and instincts.. Boomer  he same man who said that Jauron is a great man and a great coach? It would be nice if he paid a little attention before he spoke. The Bills defensive is as week as their offense. If not for Byrd the Bills would be 1-7. This defense with their smallish defensive line and pathetic linebacking are getting run over. I don't know what the record is for yards allowed I can image they may be on a record setting pace.
FogBat Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 I thought that the Bills signing Terrell Owens in the off-season was a bad idea, and I still think it's a bad idea. It's nothing against him. It's the fact that I feel like the Bills robbed him of what could have otherwise been a productive year for him.

It's nothing against him. It's the fact that I feel like the Bills robbed him of what could have otherwise been a productive year for him. If Owens had any other he wouldn't be a Bill. I don't feel sorry for him because I think I have seen him take this opportunity seriously. If he truly cared about his football career or his football legacy he would put the TV crap aside and show up for practices on Fridays. Or, maybe even fight for a ball they may not be perfectly thrown. The Bills offense sucks and the quarterbacking maybe the worst since the Bruce Mathison days. I don't think TO has done anything to make any of it better.
LabattBlue Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Watching MNF(flipping between that and thw WS), makes you realize how exciting NFL football can be. Wilson has taken this team back to the days of Stephenson, Johnson, Bullough, Rauch, etc...

LabattBlue Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 When do the Bills deactivate or waive TO and give more playing time to guys like Steve Johnson and James Hardy? The season is down the tubes anyways.
wonderbread Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 When do the Bills deactivate or waive TO and give more playing time to guys like Steve Johnson and James Hardy? The season is down the tubes anyways. Does it really matter? They would be getting any real experience. Its not like the Bills will throw the ball to them.
McJeff215 Posted November 15, 2009 Report Posted November 15, 2009 Wow. These guys are really, really, really, really bad. They just went from a tied game to a 41-17 pounding in less than a half. The worst part about it is that I have to wait until later in the week for a a hockey game to wash this taste out.
Bmwolf21 Posted November 15, 2009 Report Posted November 15, 2009 OK, I retract the word "easily." I'm saying they're on a bit of a roll now and easily beat Houston this week, then knock off Tennessee to go 5-4. After a loss at Jax, they come home and beat the Dolphins and Jets. 7-5. Win at KC 8-5. Yeah, then it all comes falling down. 8-8. Easy. So the real Bills returned over their last two games and now sit at 3-6. The way they played the last two games, I really don't see a single winnable game the rest of the way. 3-13 is a very real possibility. When do the Bills deactivate or waive TO and give more playing time to guys like Steve Johnson and James Hardy? The season is down the tubes anyways. The only thing that should save TO's roster spot would be if he blows up and goes off on the coaches in his postgame presser. Otherwise, cut him right now. I know the Bills QBs and offense suck, but suck it up and be professional.
McJeff215 Posted November 15, 2009 Report Posted November 15, 2009 Listening to DJ's press conference and he sounds like he's starting to question the Quarterback situation. Was very non-commital on who will be his guy next week. So the real Bills returned over their last two games and now sit at 3-6. The way they played the last two games, I really don't see a single winnable game the rest of the way. 3-13 is a very real possibility. I don't think that will happen, but it's more likely than 8-8. We'll probably take another game or two, but it probably won't be due to offense production. We'll win due to the defense returning a pick for a TD or a 70 yard TD punt return.
Stoner Posted November 15, 2009 Report Posted November 15, 2009 That decision to decline the penalty and dare the Titan to kick a 51-yard field goal might be one of the strangest in Bills history. How many times have the Bills fallen apart in fourth quarters after suspicious Jauron decisions?

Who do you see us beating? I watched a lot of the Jax game, and don't see us stopping the Jags running game. Miami and the Jets are going to be trying to keep their playoff hopes alive. KC is the only legitimate winnable game i see remaining on the schedule. I think we finish 4-12, or if we're really lucky, 5-11.

How many times have the Bills fallen apart in fourth quarters after suspicious Jauron decisions? Amazing. Tennessee has one player. They couldn't stop one player.. He got the ball on just about every play. Game started out okay. If there was any offense on this team at all, they'd have a chance. But not with this O-line.

How many times have the Bills fallen apart in fourth quarters after suspicious Jauron decisions? He was worried the result would be a first down if they accepted the holding penalty like it was a few plays before that when the Titans got a 1st on the 3rd & 14 play.
LabattBlue Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 That decision to decline the penalty and dare the Titan to kick a 51-yard field goal might be one of the strangest in Bills history. How many times have the Bills fallen apart in fourth quarters after suspicious Jauron decisions? Mid boggling call to decline that penalty. If there was an up and coming assistant who they wanted to give a shot to, I'd say fire Jauron. The problem is that coach doesn't exist on the staff. April? NO! Fewell? NO! AVP? NO! Just let Jauron coach out the remaining games and fire him as soon as the final whistle blows to end the season. What should they be doing right now? Figure out how the FO is going to be fixed. In the off-season, Brandon should be kicked back to marketing and Modrak and Guy should be shown the door. Why these clowns weren't fired when TD was shown the door, I'll never know. I'll be amazed if the Bills find a way to make it to 5 wins.

I think we finish 4-12, or if we're really lucky, 5-11. Kansas City. Perhaps in Atlanta versus scrubs, depending on how the NFC playoff scene unrolls, though that may still be tight. And yes, the game ended 41-17. I honestly don't care too much. I used to swear at the TV, but now it's expected. Even if they beat the hell out of the Titans today, would it matter? They'd have to all but win out. Though, I am looking forward to the offseason. This has "blow it up" written all over it. This is why I like the whole 82 games thing better... same goes w/ Baseball and Basketball, though I'm not a fan. A team can fix issues midstream and not have to wait an entire year to have a shot.
