Taking the family to the Toronto game - just works out better for the schedule. Otherwise, I would have liked to see OV as one way to start the season.

Quick question. Last time I went to a game, my cousin drove and parked in a lot right near the arena and was right down the road from the pearl street grill. Anyone know WTF I might have been?

I'm pretty sure you can park for free after 5pm in the restaurants lot if you are eating there. Then just take the train down Main. Otherwise you can park by the deceased Aud lot on Upper Terrace and Pearl.

Tyler Ennis says he's going to take the opening faceoff, and also is centering Thomas Vanek and Jason Pominville tonight.

“It kind of sunk in when I was signing the papers.”

Even if it hasn’t, it sure will tonight. Ennis says he’s centring a line with Thomas Vanek and Jason Pominville in his first-ever NHL exhibition game against the Washington Capitals. He’ll take the opening faceoff.

We've got seats in 318, row 10.....Are these decent seats?

Yes. Right on the goalline where Sabres shoot twice. There really isn't a bad seat in the house but those seats are very nice.

section 318 is on the pressbox side, so you see the faces on the benches. One side is at the face-off dot, the other at the goal line. It's cool because you can look up at the tv's in the press box and watch the replays on MSG and other feeds. Might see a player or two sitting up there also.

Just be careful with the dude taunting Darcy.

Yeah, Same Mike Knuble. They signed him this past summer.

Hmm. Interesting Philly let him go. He put up pretty good numbers along with Richards. He is a solid player. Maybe it was a Salary Cap issue? I hate the Flyers anyway, so screw them!!
