Hamilton in the NHL

Does anyone else think that a NHL team in Hamilton would be a good thing?

 

If the Sabres were compensated to some degree by the new team I think the regional rivalries between Toronto,Hamilton and Buffalo would be great for the Sabres and hockey in the area.

 

I also think it would be great for Toronto and the NHL.

 

I have been to Phoenix Coyotes games and watched the fans closely there and I would conclude without a shadow of a doubt that the NHL would be better served by another Canadian team rather than keeping the team in Phoenix. The fans in Phoenix are not real dedicated hockey fans.

 

I don't completely understand the NHL's position here. Obviously Bettman is not working for the benefit of the league in general, but rather he seems to be the servant for a couple of the league's influential owners.

Good Lord Almighty can we open another thread or ruin the great game of hockey some more with all this ? "I don't completly understand" "Why would they do that"? "To collapse good faith and fair dealing is not the same as anti-trust. "
