Sabre Dance Posted August 7, 2009 Report Posted August 7, 2009 so would we say that this is the Finnish of his career? (rip Clip Smith) Great reference! Haven't thought about the Clipper for a while. He made watching the sports fun...kind of.
FearTheReaper Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 You'll be missed Teppo. His game was almost flawless from 05 to 07. Perfect positioning and great vison on his outlet passing,a terrific PKer, a calming influence in the locker room, and a class act off the ice. Farewell, and thank you so much for your amazing seasons in Buffalo.
FogBat Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Doesn't Teppo hold the record for the most games played in the NHL for a Finn or European-born player or something like that? Yes, it does.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 He'll be back..................
FogBat Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 It looks like Teppo is already hard at work with the Finnish national team for the upcoming Olympics. I hope he likes his job because the team head coach, Jukka Jalonen, is a very fiery man. Who knows? Maybe they'll beat the Swedes this time... (Yes, Hank. That means you too, whether you make the Swedish national team or not). Here's a link: http://www.mtv3.fi/urheilu/jaakiekko/uutiset.shtml/arkistot/jaakiekko/2009/08/930879 I apologize that it's in Finnish. However, if you guys really want some help on how to translate, go to translate.google.com. The results may not be perfect, but we should be able to get the gist of the text by doing this.
