I thought I remember reading that RJ may retire if Neale ended up leaving.

They're gonna take Jeanneret out on a stretcher.

This sounds awful, but I hope you're right.

I can't stand the thought of not being able to hear him call a game....

It will be a sad day when he's done.

I thought you might have been referring to "That's the best shot you've had this year Danny." I can't imagine Harry is too popular with some of the players. Last year a player got hit in the nads with a stick and Harry joked about it. Just seems like a jerk.

If you click on other videos of the event, he tries to get cutesy with a few...but Roy was MIA and I think Neale was a little pissed he was holding things up and making it a tougher time for the announcers.

I like Harry as well. Only in Buffalo would people b-tch about having a former Hockey Night in Canada color man in the booth.

The only thing I'm bitching about with Neal, is that he doesn't provide any interesting color commentary that real hockey fans don't already know by watching the game. Especially Sabre fans!!

That comma just gave me a "soda spitting" moment.

You're supposed to swallow it.

How'd that damn comma get in there?

I think Harry should go back to HNIC. Nothing personal, I just don't really like his insight or lack thereof. Never realized how much I missed Lorentz.

Harry always seemed much more animated on HNIC - maybe since it is only one game per week and it is a national (Canadian) audience. On Sabres broadcasts, he seems way too laid back and does not offer nearly enough colour (I spelled it the Canadian way) or analysis. I'd love to see (well, hear) Mike Robitaille back in the booth. I guarantee there would be no periods of silence....("Even a blind pig finds an acorn now and then...") B-)
