Player's career trajectory: Smooth as Jessica Alba's ass

You know, all this talk about how terrible Hecht is, makes me wonder why everyone has thrown in the towel on him. It was only a year or two ago when someone on this board said, "If you can't appreciate what Hecht does for this hockey team, then you don't know hockey..."

So, the question begs, is Hecht's career essentially over? Is he on the down curve on Jessica's ass or is there a chance for an uptick by hitting a PASabrefan wrinkle? Do most players follow a Gaussian ascent and descent or are they up and down over many years?

Just wondering...

For "our" sake I hope it was one down year. However I feel that a player like Hecht shines when the light is not on him. If you recall a few years ago when he was was on the 2nd/3rd lines he was a point machine. Now that he has an increased role he is sputtering out as a resuilt of facing better defensive pairing possibly. That being said I feel that as long as he is on this team he will continue to flounder. DR grossly overpaid for his marginal talent.

If anyone has pictures of PA's ass, they should be removed from the board immediately. That includes PA.

I just wonder if the Jochen as center experiment is coming to an end. I say he either gets it this year(early) or should be moved back to LW.

The only other thing I can think of was that he was playing through an undiagnosed concussion.

Other than that I think it is a total mystery. The guy just lost his game, and by that I don't even mean scoring. The skating, the vision, the scrapping, the shooting, feistiness, the mucking ....everything left him. He wasn't obviously out of condition or anything...it just looked like he lost his mojo.

I scratched my head most of the season. Maybe he was clinically depressed or something.

It was almost like he got Steve Blass or Chuck Knoblauch disease.

outstanding.

As for Yo-yo -- boy I hope this is a bounceback year for him. XB described his falloff exactly right -- everything just disappeared. If this year doesn't go well then it's most likely another Tallinder situation, where the mojo is gone forever and we have a major salary albatross to deal with for 3 more years. Yeeesh.

I think this is the first time in the history of the board that I am wordless.

Anyone else note the very first signs of subclinical curdling on the back of her legs? Hammy hams, I believe they are colloquially called in the south. So tragic.

Not that I am hoping Jochen was injured, but I do hope there was an undisclosed, underlying injury that explains last season. I think Jochen is capable of playing the system better than almost anyone on the roster, and it was perplexing to see him struggle. I also think he needs a support staff around him, and with all the line juggling (and position juggling), he was out of his element. I don't see things looking that much better this year from a personnel strategy, unless the young guys get called up.

That being said, for visual sake (referring to Alba, not Hecht), I would like to see Jochen make the climb from the lower hamstring of Miss Alba, and mount that curvaceous ass, right in time for playoffs in 2010!

We're getting very close to Hot Chicks with Douchebags territory.

It is the offseason. It's not like we have actual players moves to scrutinize, just the lack thereof.
