darksabre Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 I'd take a shot at Morrison or Marchant. Marchant's a Buffalo boy too. Morrison has had a pretty solid career with the exception of one bad year due to injuries. Both of them are in their mid 30s but would be worth a shot.
wonderbread Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 I never even opened up the list. Its the equivilant to being a Jehova's Witness and getting the JC Pennys Christmas catalog.

inkman Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 The Sabres probably won't make that big of a splash in the FA market, but the following quote has me optimistic: "Regardless of what happens in the next week or two weeks, we're going to work to see if we can improve the hockey club," Regier said. "It doesn't have to all come through unrestricted signings or free agent signings. It can come through trades. I just think there will be more work over the course of the summer this year than probably in the past." Entire Article
