Ted's Hot Dogs Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 I have always thought ryan miller was a lock to get the job as Team USA goalie. So who do you think its gonna be, not who you want it to be. Others are Dipeitro, and Thomas
Two or less Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 Both Miller and Thomas will go. I do think Miller will play though. With a better defense, Miller would do better stats wise. I think US coaches will realize he is the better choice and more likely choice for a goalie to carry the team if he needs to.

He may cool off--there's a reason why he was in his 30s before anyone knew who he was. Or he may not. And Miller might be worn out by January. Goalie. EVAAAAR. (Seriously, though, I can envision a scenario where he beats Thomas for the starting job. I wouldn't bet on it, but I can envision it.)

My inital reaction didn't quite go their with that conjecture, it went more like; Hmmm no other Sabres on the team good enough to be considered for USA ?

We just might spend too much time together. :beer: It's nearly July and we are both still thinking and talking hockey.... which I appreciate. I really do.
