nobody Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Spain had not lost a match since November 2006. US needed and got a miracle to even make it to this game.
X. Benedict Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Terrific match and US win. Spain #1 in the world and the US holds on to with 10 players for last 10 minutes.
Eleven Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 Just plain awesome. Can't believe that we* advanced, given our horrible play of late & losses to Italy and Brazil by a brazillion goals. And then to beat Spain! Wow. *Started a poll on that.
wjag Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 How the hell did that happen? US soccer is one step above US Curling.. One of these years US Curling will shock the world..
Knightrider Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 How the hell did that happen? US soccer is one step above US Curling.. One of these years US Curling will shock the world.. As a former nose tackle, I say thanks, but I'll take curling. Now, if you wanted to combine soccer and hockey with the result being bigger ice and bigger goals, I could be convinced.

nobody Posted June 25, 2009 Author Report Posted June 25, 2009 I thought the US had pretty good Curling teams.
wjag Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 I thought the US had pretty good Curling teams. How would we know? If you google Curling it says archaic.. Canada... It also says Amish Hockey..
