Stoner Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 You wanted to be governor. Voters yawned. You wanted to own a hockey team. You yawned. You wanted to control Albany. You wanted to control Buffalo. You moved to Florida. I'm sure they're thrilled to have you. You got divorced. You're dating a tennis star who's old enough to be your granddaughter. Jesus H. Christ! (sorry Cross)
X. Benedict Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 You just linked video to Monica Seles getting stabbed in the back....and you are worried about Tom.
Stoner Posted June 10, 2009 Author Report Posted June 10, 2009 You just linked video to Monica Seles getting stabbed in the back....and you are worried about Tom. And who brought up her grunting?
X. Benedict Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 And who brought up her grunting? That was perfectly good innuendo. And I was never concerned.

jwcolour Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 We seem to forget that without Golisano buying this once bankrupt team we might not have such Buffalo Sabres in Buffalo.
Eleven Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 We seem to forget that without Golisano buying this once bankrupt team we might not have such Buffalo Sabres in Buffalo. I came here to say this.
Stoner Posted June 10, 2009 Author Report Posted June 10, 2009 I came here to say this. Would your mantax have been as singled, so to say?
Stoner Posted June 11, 2009 Author Report Posted June 11, 2009 check this guy out!!! Joe Hardy Joe Hardy :worthy: In lieu of a pre-nup, the bride demanded to see the results of his latest cardiac stress test. I got your 84 Lumber right here!
Eleven Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Would your mantax have been as singled, so to say? PA, I didn't quite understand this one.
Stoner Posted June 11, 2009 Author Report Posted June 11, 2009 PA, I didn't quite understand this one. Don't play coy with me. You understand plenty.
Two or less Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 We seem to forget that without Golisano buying this once bankrupt team we might not have such Buffalo Sabres in Buffalo. Very true. I don't care what Golisano does in his time outside of hockey and i sure as hell don't care who he dates. He kept the Sabres in Buffalo and that's all that matters to me. I'm not 100% happy with the guy but bottom line is, if he didn't save the Sabres, probably nobody would have. Amazing how quickly some people forget that.
Eleven Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Don't play coy with me. You understand plenty. I do, but I still don't get that one.

Amazing how quickly some people forget that. a) We don't know if anyone else would have stepped in b) I do feel a debt gratitude is owed c) I could care less about his social life but I think his political ambition is dangerous d) His investment is now worth at least 5 times what he paid for it e) Its time for him to give his hockey people the green light to go for it or sell the team

Stoner Posted June 11, 2009 Author Report Posted June 11, 2009 Why do you care about any of this? You don't care what kind of person owns "your" hockey team?
Stoner Posted June 11, 2009 Author Report Posted June 11, 2009 I do, but I still don't get that one.
X. Benedict Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 You don't care what kind of person owns "your" hockey team? Did you prefer felons?
inkman Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Did you prefer felons? Only if said felons acutally brought in the "tools to finish the job".
X. Benedict Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Only if said felons acutally brought in the "tools to finish the job". Fair enough
nfreeman Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 You don't care what kind of person owns "your" hockey team? I do, but I don't see any of the items you listed (losing an election, moving out of NYS, getting divorced or dating a younger woman (who is 36, btw, and TG is 67)) as indicators of being a bad guy. This just sounds like more classic WNY fear and loathing of the wealthy. Finally, while I'm not expressing a preference for one party's group of corrupt, incompetent NYS political hacks to another, I don't see how anyone can be unhappy with a change in the NYS government. Did you prefer felons? There we go.
