mphs mike Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 The BN article mentions "metal" orange seats. I recall that the oranges were plastic seats. Is my brain simply that foggy or were there both metal and plastic oranges?
Corp000085 Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 I thought the oranges were wood... maybe those were the blues, reds and upper golds. Who knows... Guess we'll all have to go to the HHOF sometime!
Stoner Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 I remember them having seat belts and air sick bags. Am I crazy?

spndnchz Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 I remember them having seat belts and air sick bags. Am I crazy? I heard parachutes attached to the back of the seats...

The oranges were plastic, the blues were wood, the reds and golds were padded, if I remember correctly. You're right about the HHOF though. I haven't been there in decades, and hope to visit this summer.
