Mathieu Darche (2g, 1a) and Tim Kennedy (1g, 2a) scored three points each as the Portland Pirates inched closer to punching their ticket in the Calder Cup playoffs with a 6-4 win over the Springfield Falcons in front of 6,644 at the Cumberland County Civic Center on Sunday afternoon. I noticed the game before he was upfront. With Generous and Persson joining the team and him not playing well, it wasn't a huge surprise. Like I said before, I don't consider him much of a prospect, especially on defense.

Clinching Scenario #2: Pirates lose in OT/SO against the Sharks with a Monarchs loss to the Wolf Pack on Wednesday.
