I think the were just as many Sabres fans in the arena as Caps fans. Notice how Miller skated the length of the ice to join in the celebration? He is a true team leader.

We may not make the playoffs, but damn that was a fun game. What a great third period and OT by Buffalo. Absolutely excellent third period and OT. They could have lost this just in the second, but they came back, played hard and gritty and got the huge 2 points. Honestly, I would have been happy with the 1 point tonight, but this is awesome. Connolly with a huge play to get the turnover and then get it to Pominville who was wide open. Fantastic, this was fun!

 

Now we have to beat NJ tomorrow or else this is meaningless. Great win.

As long as he's healthy, he's HUGE! I still recall the many cries to drive him out of town, but I for one am glad he's still here.

I don't remember seeing Miller that excited before, coming down to the other end and hugging P-Ville. I guess he was happy it wasn't all on him again in a shootout! Great to see that with the team. Despite the OT losses, Miller changes this team so much.

you just gotta be proud of the way the sabres have played lately...capturing 9 out of a possible 10 points against some pretty tough opposition...even if they miss the playoffs from digging themselves too big of a hole, theyve been lion-hearted over the past 5 games
