carpandean Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 Definitely after losing to the Red Wings. :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: Practically speaking? Yes. Numerically? Not even after the Rangers won tonight. Margin is down to zero now. If the Sabres lose any points in their last three games or the Rangers gain any points in their two games or the Panthers gain more than two points in their last two, the Sabres are done. Could happen tomorrow against Toronto or it could happen Thursday against Carolina or if the Rangers beat the Flyers. If we're not done Friday morning, I'll be shocked ... and, admittedly, sucked back in one more time.

We all will, but bear in mind that Buffalo has been 1 for 16 this season in picking up all 4 points in back-to-back nights. The chances of both the Rangers finishing 0-2-0 and Florida doing no better than 2 points is a lot higher than the Sabres finishing 3-0-0.
