sabresnutinphoenix Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 Montreal is losing to the Leafs. Who wants to wage that we finish behind both Ontario teams. After last night, I am starting to think we are going to finish behind Toronto and Ottawa...
SwampD Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 All I know is that just once, before the season is over, I want to see a Sabre behind the opposing team's D. It'll never happen because Lindy has them play too deep in our own zone. Oh well.
wjag Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 It just keeps getting worse Avery on a tip Buffalo: :worthy: New York: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:
carpandean Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 OK, now that game and likely the season are done, can somebody :censored: -ing run Avery and Gomez, please?!
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 Hate to say it this season is Over and IT SUCKED. Started out so good in october
rickshaw Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 Why didn't Telqvist get the start? He played great in his only start and should have played after Lalime played last night. That is probably the thing I dislike the most about Ruff. He's got absolutely ZERO feel for how to utilize goalies. The curse of Hasek.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 OK, now that game and likely the season are done, can somebody :censored: -ing run Avery and Gomez, please?! agree totally...but they are SOFT...
notwoz Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 OK, now that game and likely the season are done, can somebody :censored: -ing run Avery and Gomez, please?! Apparently no one on the Sabres is capable of doing that job.
ROC Sabres Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 OK, now that game and likely the season are done, can somebody :censored: -ing run Avery and Gomez, please?! Or the refs. Nothing against them but since they hardly ever hit anything (with the exception of a few players) they might as well just start running everyone
SabreInFla Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 I think this game will result in a firing. 48 hours or less and somebody is gone.
Stoner Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 OK, now that game and likely the season are done, can somebody :censored: -ing run Avery and Gomez, please?! Umm, didn't Kaleta belt Avery early in the game? Was it too clean a devastating hit for you?
sabresnutinphoenix Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 I think this game will result in a firing. 48 hours or less and somebody is gone. Are you serious?....
notwoz Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 I think this game will result in a firing. 48 hours or less and somebody is gone. We can only hope and pray.

That is probably the thing I dislike the most about Ruff. He's got absolutely ZERO feel for how to utilize goalies. The curse of Hasek. I almost wonder if he is playing him to spite darcy for signing him. I bet there is some serious strife behind the scenes right now.
SabreInFla Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 Are you serious?.... I actually am man......
carpandean Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 Umm, didn't Kaleta belt Avery early in the game? Was it too clean a devastating hit for you? Oh no, that was a good start ... but he got up, so the job's not done.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 I actually am man...... I just have no faith in this outfit but I hope you are right!
SwampD Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 I just have a feeling that this is going to be a really entertaining period of hockey.
zow2 Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 The Sabres are like a bad car wreck....I just can't seem to look away. It's bad enough when they are ahead a goal or two and you know they are still gonna lose. Tonight they are down 3, so there's no chance in hell of coming back. Count me as wondering why Telqvist was not starting tonight? I'm not asking in hindsight,, I tuned in a few mins late and assumed Telqvist would be in net since Lalime gave up 6 last night. Why did we even trade for the guy? This Sabres club has such little chemistry. Even w/ Miller they would probably be a couple points shy of 8th. They just can't score enough and they can't win low scoring games. I like Lindy but hope they jettison some of these players that need new scenery.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 I just have a feeling that this is going to be a really entertaining period of hockey. In what sense?
wjag Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 New Goalie Clark puts back a juicy rebound Buffalo: :worthy: :worthy: New York: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:
notwoz Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 In what sense? In the sense of a medieval crowd watching someone being drawn and quartered, or a bunch of Afghans watching the Taliban behead someone in the middle of a soccer field. In the sense that we're watching someone die a horrible and public death.
