LabattBlue Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Rangers beat Boston Pittsburgh @ Washington Montreal @ Dallas
Stoner Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 It gets tiring hoping for out of town help for a team that usually won't help itself. Yet we do it. The only good news in the Bruin loss is that maybe they will suffer a near-collapse, yet maintain the top seed, and fall to the Sabres in the first round. Yeah, that's looking very hard for good news.
LabattBlue Posted March 8, 2009 Author Report Posted March 8, 2009 Pit 3 Was 1 Good to see that some teams are stepping it up. <_<
carpandean Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Pit 2 Was 1  3-1, now. Guerin adds a goal to his two earlier assists.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Sabres must win about 12 of 17 games....must get hot...any word on Miller?
tom webster Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Sabres must win about 12 of 17 games....must get hot...any word on Miller? Its looking like those 2 home games against Florida and 1 road game against the Rangers and Carolina are going to be huge. Nobody's going to just give it to us.
carpandean Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 OV makes it 3-2 in the first minute of the third.
carpandean Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 And just like that, it's 3-3 on a breakaway!
R_Dudley Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Pens win in the SO..... Well between Canes, Pens and FLA and now NYR getting hotter, Bflo is looking at a huge mountain to climb. I'm thinking the Carp 93-94 point rule to make PO this year may be more like 95-96 pts gets last spot.

I'm thinking the Carp 93-94 point rule to make PO this year may be more like 95-96 pts gets last spot. Pit goes on the road and beats one of the best teams in the East. Makes a loss like last night even more of a bitter pill to swallow.
Goodfella25 Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Got to beat teams like Ottawa plain and simple. Seeing the teams we're battling with get wins over teams like Boston and Pittsburgh just makes the inexcusable losses to the Islanders and Senators burn even more. Unless the Sabres put together a nice streak something like Pittsburgh has, we're looking at another non-playoff season.
Chief Enabler Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 I really dont want to be watching the scoreboard, but every east coast team pulling points today is it.. :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: Makes me look forward to the Bills season already.....thats sad....very sad....
LabattBlue Posted March 9, 2009 Author Report Posted March 9, 2009 Montreal wins 3-1. Sabres go 0 for 3 on a night when they aren't playing. :(
zow2 Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 Washington has just laid down like dogs this past week losing at home to Carolina, Fla and Pittsburgh! Stick a fork in the Sabres. These other clubs are picking up wins on the road while BUffalo flounders. Interesting that teams 6-8 might be the hottest one's entering the playoffs. Just goes to show how hard they play when motivated. I personally think CArolina is better than Buffalo. Florida not so much and Pittsburgh are probably slightly better.
