Let max sit. waive him whatever.
Bmwolf21 Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Let max sit. waive him whatever. That's right. Max isn't going to do anything anyway, at least not until we change the system and head coach, and get him a no.1 center to play with. Once he gets all that, he's golden.

Bench MacArthur, that seemed to light a fire under his but last time. And put Kaleta up on the second line, we need his desire on the ice more often, IMO.
shrader Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Here's the list in no particular order: Roy Vanek Pominville Stafford Connolly MacArthur Gaustad Hecht Paille Mair Afinogenov Ellis Kaleta Peters Moore So we're looking at 4 scratches up front (ok, 3 plus Peters). Obviously Max will be on a very short list, but after that, it's a tough call. We're going to see a lot of different lineups based on what type of style they're going to be expecting game by game.
EZC-Boston Posted March 4, 2009 Author Report Posted March 4, 2009 So we dress Vanek-Roy-Connolly-Stafford-Kotalik-Pominiville-Kaleta-Gaustad-Moore-Paille-Ellis-Hecht? Peters, Max, MacArthur, Mair are the odd men out?

Ellis sits tonight, I assume to play Max. I'd sit MacArthur too.
Bmwolf21 Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Jochen has struggled all year - he's got to be on a shorter leash now.
thesportsbuff Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 paille macarthur hecht pominville mair all valid candidates to sit
shrader Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Jochen has struggled all year - he's got to be on a shorter leash now. And with the depth in that department, it's not like we need him to kill penalties. He has to be on a very short leash with this many guys.
spndnchz Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 paille macarthur hecht pominville mair all valid candidates to sit Never sits. Nobody puts baby in a corner.
Bmwolf21 Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Never sits. Nobody puts baby in a corner. Yep. Too much money tied up in #29 (not so much this year, but you get the point). He'll play as long as Lindy feels the effort is there.
RayFinkle Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Here's the list in no particular order: Roy Vanek Pominville Stafford Kotalik Connolly MacArthur Gaustad Hecht Paille Mair Afinogenov Ellis Kaleta Peters Moore So we're looking at 4 scratches up front (ok, 3 plus Peters). No shortage of guys who would qualify for some press box time on that list.
FearTheReaper Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Heres my take on the lines now with Moore Vanek-Roy-Stafford Moore-Connolly-Pominville Hecht-Gaustad-Kotalik Paille-Mair-Kaleta I dont like the idea of Goose playing wing. And i cant see Goose going to wing to make room for the new guy. Hecht needs to be scratched. Good luck telling Lindy that, but nevertheless hes definitly not worthy of 2nd line status. I dont know much about Dominic Moore. What kind of style does he play?

Probably gonna separate TC and Moore, IMO.

That makes the lines even more unpredictable.

TSN has him listed at 6-0, 193.
billsrcursed Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 I think Timmy will center Vanek and Stafford, putting Roy on the 2nd line and Moore on the 3rd. I think Goose will play wing. Vanek-Connolly-Stafford Hecht-Roy-Pominville Gaustad-Moore-Kotalik "whoever"-Mair-Kaleta Don't like Kaleta on the 4th, but who knows what Lindy will do....
bflobarry Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Why does anyone have Hecht as an automatic? The guy just sucks right now. Period. I'd try Max, for the spark it might give (unless you think the 3 goals in the last 3 games is "spark"). And I know no one else seems to see it, but Alice is a giveaway machine. I'd sit him too.
JohnRobertEichel Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 My best guess for the top 12: Vanek-Connolly-Stafford Kotalik-Roy-Afinogenov Hecht-Moore-Pominville Paille-Gaustad-Kaleta And the 4 guys riding the bench: Peters Mair MacArthur Ellis

shrader Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Not taking into account Big Al being traded? I went back and took him out of my original list. That does clear things up slightly.
JohnRobertEichel Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Not taking into account Big Al being traded? My NEW best guess for the top 12 once Moore arrives, after accounting for the Kotalik trade: Vanek-Connolly-Stafford Hecht-Roy-Afinogenov Paille-Moore-Pominville MacArthur-Gaustad-Kaleta And the 3 guys riding the bench: Peters Mair Ellis
spndnchz Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 I think that quietly, behind the scenes, TG is giving sugar packets to whoever injures Max in practice so he goes LTIR. Watch your back Max! :death:
