sabresnutinphoenix Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 I'm pretty sure if they showed someone in the crowd dancing the macarena you would be enjoying the game more than the one against the islanders. :w00t:
NowDoYouBelieve Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 I'm pretty sure if they showed someone in the crowd dancing the macirana you would be enjoying the game more than the one against the islanders. I'd enjoy 3 hours of a turd floating around in a toilet more than the Islanders game.
ROC Sabres Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 I'd enjoy 3 hours of a turd floating around in a toilet more than the Islanders game. I didn't want to be that mean to the sabres, but i think both of ours are equally bad. Wait, i think the macarena lasted longer than 3 hours.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 I'd enjoy 3 hours of a turd floating around in a toilet more than the Islanders game. that's just nasty...
NowDoYouBelieve Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 that's just nasty... Nastier than the Islanders game? Haha, I'm just going to go ahead and continue enjoying this game.
FogBat Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 I'd enjoy 3 hours of a turd floating around in a toilet more than the Islanders game. That was way TMI. <_<
NowDoYouBelieve Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 For a Canadian broadcast, I'd say the announcers are sounding very unbiased...even going out of their way to compliment the Buffalo ice staff.
wjag Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 What a period... Sabres are now at 50-50 in faceoffs and only trail by 5 SOG... That was a complete period by the good guys...
shrader Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 For a Canadian broadcast, I'd say the announcers are sounding very unbiased...even going out of their way to compliment the Buffalo ice staff. Ferraro is a bit over the top though. Anyway, it seems like they're calling games in western canada more often, so they shouldn't be biased towards Montreal. edit: Oh, and Dominic Moore to the healthy scratch list. :D
Spudz Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 Boy, Don't know about you but I really want that Hecht mini puck. <_< Even before this year it wasn't like he was one of the popular players. I wonder what made them use him to highlight the mini puck collection.
NowDoYouBelieve Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 Wow, the TSN guys can't sing our praises enough...I guess there's not much negative stuff you can say when a team's leading 3-0, but Pierre Maguire guaranteed a playoff berth for us.
wjag Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 With Numinem, Vanek and Max back on the ice, it feels like they are starting to get healthy again... Lalime is working in nicely. Miller will be rested for the playoff run... A couple new players... and a 3-0 lead on Montreal... Win this game and beat Ottawa this weekend and things might just start turning around for this team.
gilbert1175 Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 Hi there - stuck at work - can someone tell me the lines tonight? Thanks!
NowDoYouBelieve Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 Great defensive play by Max, interrupting a pass that probably wouldve been a goal.
wjag Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 Buffalo PP Gaustad gets a tip early in the PP Max and Rivet get a helper Buffalo: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: Montreal:
ROC Sabres Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 IF YOU'RE OUT AND ABOUT, GIVE A HONK FOR THE GOOSE!
NowDoYouBelieve Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 Goose got me loose, gone on patron. 4-0 baby!
wjag Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 Hi there - stuck at work - can someone tell me the lines tonight? Thanks! Max, Roy, and Paille Vanek, Connolly and Stafford Hecht, Gaustad and Pominville, MacArthur, Mair and Kaleta I think...
FogBat Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 Wow, the TSN guys can't sing our praises enough...I guess there's not much negative stuff you can say when a team's leading 3-0, but Pierre Maguire guaranteed a playoff berth for us. Sorry if I come across as a doubting Thomas, but I'll believe it when I see it. Scratching and clawing to get in is not a fun prospect.
FogBat Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 Montreal is playing like crap. Bad for them, good for us.
Eleven Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 I'm just now joining the discussion after watching the first two periods while out at dinner (and wasting the first half of the third driving home). Loved what I saw. The puck seemed always to be in the Montreal end.
