jad1 Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 The time has come to break up the Rochester Frat Party. These guys are borderline gutless.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 well, bye bye sinking ship..I am out!!!!
JujuFish Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 well, bye bye sinking ship..I am out!!!! You've been out for a long time. Your posts are always negative.
R_Dudley Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Only thing left after this is to what happens with the trade deadline. I will be pissed if they do not do something, there is no reason not to make some changes for the current and future.
Foligno's Nose Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Best effort of the night there. Too bad they need to do it again. Atleast get the point. Oh crap. No filet o' fish. A double BERGENHEIMer burger tonight. Definite first star now. Unfogiveable, unacceptable performance tonight. It is only a positive if it inspires Darcy to make changes. Lindy deserves a better effort than this. We get shut-out by Yan Denis. Sad.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Canes lose 5 - 3 so we still stay even with them
pukincrozier Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Any credit given for the 2 goals the Islanders scored in my prediction? What a disappointment. They didn't score against the worst team in the NHL. My bad!!!
Claude Balls Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 If I were a GM, I'd tell this team that there will be moves after this effort.... I don't think that will scare anyone on this team. They all play like they don't want to be here anyways. F em all. This franchise is becoming eerily similar to the Buffalo Bills and it's pretty pathetic.
SabresFan526 Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 This team has zero goal scoring. Goaltending is clearly not the problem here as Lalime has done everything in his power to keep the Sabres in these games, and the guys in front of him refuse to take advantage of their opportunities and score goals. This team is ridiculously snakebitten right now. I don't know if Vanek will get this team out of it. The Sabres are off till Wednesday, so they better make some moves to get some goal scoring as that seems to be the biggest problem. Ridiculous. What is even more ridiculous is that because Carolina and Florida lost, the Sabres are still in this thing. Highly frustrating, but there's still a very slight chance the Sabres can still make the playoffs.

matter2003 Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 great job...lose to the worst team in the NHL by shutout...way for the Sabres to stay in the playoff race...
Foligno's Nose Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Well good to see we all haven't lost our sense of Humor at least the Sabres can't suck that life from us. Hey, we are die-hard Buffalo sports fans. It is imperative, almost a necessity, to have a sense-of-humor. Almost as necessary to have...let's say...a colon.
Foligno's Nose Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 I may never say this again but... "Thank You Atlanta Thrashers!" P.S. What do you want for Kovalchuk?
ThePebble19 Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 I may never say this again but... "Thank You Atlanta Thrashers!" P.S. What do you want for Kovalchuk? Maybe the Guerin thing was a three way deal. We get Guerin and Kovalchuk Islanders get a bag of pucks and some used hockey tape Thrashers get a filet o fish and a slightly used Andrew Peters.
Claude Balls Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 The Bills???? Didn't you hear they signed Rory Fitzpatrick? Yes I did and I threw up in my mouth. Although I think when they saw that Ryan Fitzpatrick was a free agent they mistook him for Matt Ryan and scooped him up with joy wondering how no one else had already grabbed him.
BamBam Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Have they announced anything with Guerrin yet?
ThePebble19 Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Have they announced anything with Guerrin yet? Negative.

It is still a more plausible rumor than anything slopped together over at http://www.hockeyliesandcrap.com/eck/BS/idiocy
BamBam Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Just saw this from Lyle Richardson on Fox Sports. AKA..Spector. Guerin Update Various reports tonight noted NY Islanders captain Bill Guerin was not in the lineup for tonight's Isles-Sabres game. Chris Botta (former Isles VP of Media Relations) reports on his blog tonight the Isles have a "deal in principle" with an Eastern team for Guerin, which is expected to be finalized on Sunday. Guerin of course has agreed to waive his "no-movement" clause. We can obviously rule out Toronto, Ottawa, Tampa Bay and Atlanta as destinations. One would think he'd prefer to waive his clause to go to a legitimate contender. He's a right winger with a right-hand shot. The Bruins? Possibly, but they seem more in need of a left handed shot down low on their powerplay. Devils? Rumor is Lou Lamoriello is interested more in a center or defenseman. Washington? Alexander Semin and Thomas Fleischmann appear to have the top two right wing roles locked up. Flyers? They're very deep up front and appear to be seeking depth on the blueline. Montreal? Their need appears to be for a scoring center. Rangers? Would the Isles actually peddle Guerin to their rival despite being out of the playoff race? Sabres? They're already deep at right wing. Florida and Carolina could use more depth at right wing, while the Penguins - despite their recent acquisition of Chris Kunitz - might want a more seasoned right winger for Sidney Crosby's line. Let your imaginations run wild, rumor fans! I'm guessing it's Pittsburgh, Florida or Carolina.

Past Drew Stafford and Patty Kaleta, the rest of them can hit the friggin road.
