Corp000085 Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 7:00pm Ugh. I'm beginning to dread game nights because you never know what team will show up. I didn't really enjoy the fact that the Sabres couldn't score more than 1 goal, but I did like the fact that the effort seemed to be there as well as the hitting. Kaleta destroying Brind'amour in retaliation for his spacek hit hopefully will speak volumes. There needs to be more of it, but I was impressed that finally, someone stood up for a teammate regardless of whether it was going to result in a penalty. Keep up the hitting and actually score some goals tonight. Lalime won't be a problem if you can get more than 1 goal past the other goalie! LETS GO BUFFALO!
Sabres Rock Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 http://atdhe.net/ has not carried hockey games since last week. Anyone know why? Any other sites that may carry the game?
Guest Sloth Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 http://atdhe.net/ has not carried hockey games since last week. Anyone know why? Any other sites that may carry the game? I've had the exact same question and concern. I hate listening to a game on the internet.
SwampD Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 http://atdhe.net/ has not carried hockey games since last week. Anyone know why? Any other sites that may carry the game? Why...No I don't Mr Officer. And I had no idea that such sites even exsisted.
wonderbread Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Why...No I don't Mr Officer. And I had no idea that such sites even exsisted. Well at least he isn't selling big screen TV's or car window logos.
LabattBlue Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I have no idea what to expect tonight. I wouldn't be surprised if either team won in a blowout 5-1 or it is a 6-5 game with either team winning.
SwampD Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Well at least he isn't selling big screen TV's or car window logos. Or, even worse, chances to maybe be able to buy tickets to playoff games. I'm still scratching my head over that one, but on to the game. We've done nothing but get better with Lalime in net(0 points the first game, then 1 point in the second). I think the trend contues and we get 2 points tonight.
Sabres Rock Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Or, even worse, chances to maybe be able to buy tickets to playoff games. I'm still scratching my head over that one, but on to the game. Dude it's the year 2009. There is such a thing as sporting events being shown on the internet. It picks up the feed from MSN. Out of towners rely on it.
Kristian Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Anything less than a comfortable win over what I consider the NHL's worst and most ridiculous organisation, is unacceptable. I don't want to hear any excuses about injuries, hot goaltenders, yada yada yada, just freakin' WIN! There.
NowDoYouBelieve Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Anything less than a comfortable win over what I consider the NHL's worst and most ridiculous organisation, is unacceptable. I don't want to hear any excuses about injuries, hot goaltenders, yada yada yada, just freakin' WIN! There. And this is the Isles AFTER selling Comrie and Campoli. Nobody should lose to the Isles, least of all a team fighting for their life.
FearTheReaper Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Well hopefully the Sabs we all love show up tonight and destroy the worst team in the league. But we all know what other team has an equal oppurtunity of showing up. :wallbash: Boy we really need Vanek for a spark.
carpandean Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 And this is the Isles AFTER selling Comrie and Campoli. Nobody should lose to the Isles, least of all a team fighting for their life. Don't forget: without Brendan Witt, who was suspended for a dirty-@ss elbow to Toronto's Hagman: <object width="480" height="295"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVcleFj6Etk&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVcleFj6Etk&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="295"></embed></object> Yeah, losing tonight would just be sad. I won't ever count the Sabres out until they are numerically eliminated, but a loss here would be beyond a bad sign.

I won't ever count the Sabres out until they are numerically limited, but a loss here would be beyond a bad sign. Damn,Wow That hit was utterly disgusting.
Realist Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Lalime has been decent his first two games. Let's see if the team in front of him can put anything in the opposing net.
Kristian Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Damn,Wow That hit was utterly disgusting. POS move, and Witt deserves a two-hand baseball swing to the teeth for that one.
JohnRobertEichel Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 If the Sabres don't take 2 points tonight, Regier needs to hit the phones and immediately start selling Connolly, Spacek, Kotalik, etc...

They need to undo the snakebite for sure, need more than 2 goals most nights and definitely more than one, even against the Isles.

This is totally bush-leauge
darksabre Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Someone needs to give that right back to Witt.
FearTheReaper Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 If the Sabres don't take 2 points tonight, Regier needs to hit the phones and immediately start selling Connolly, Spacek, Kotalik, etc... Sell Connolly for what? I hope you like Jochen Hecht centering the second scoring line then. :death:
FogBat Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Someone needs to give that right back to Witt. Witt should be back from his 5-game suspension by March 10th. The Leafs should have another crack at him if he isn't a healthy scratch that night.
Bmwolf21 Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Damn,Wow That hit was utterly disgusting. Yep. The color commentator hit the nail on the head: What are these players doing? :wallbash:
ThePebble19 Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Well I, for one, would love to see us play 60 minutes of hockey tonight. Nobody takes a night off, no 3rd period defensive shells, we need to attack, attack, attack. This is the worst team in the league we are playing...let's treat them like it.
