LabattBlue Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Forgot about Frolov, the Sabres are back in the running for Bouw! Sources are telling me that the Flyers, Devils, Rangers, Sabres, Blue Jackets, Oilers, Canadiens, Leafs and Kings are all very serious about Jay Bo as of this morning.
Bmwolf21 Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I'd trade him stright up for Jordan Staal! http://www.tsn.ca/columnists/scott_cullen/...s=headlines_nhl I'm not even sure I'd do that - seems like six of one, half-dozen of the other: Stafford - Age 23 6-1, 202 GP: 164 G: 46 A: 58 P: 104 Points Per Game: .63 +/-: 16 J. Staal Age 20 6-4, 220 GP: 226 G: 57 A: 47 P: 104 Points Per Game: .47 +/-: 3

Bmwolf21 Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I'm sure the question would end up coming down to who has the... INTANGIBLES!!! It's always about the intangibles. Seriously, though - I think we're starting to see Drew come into his own and "get it." I don't see enough of Pittsburgh to make any sort of judgment on Staal, but I really don't want to give up on Staff or use him as a major piece in a trade. Pominville, OTOH...
jwcolour Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I would enjoy Frolov greatly if he were to join the squad.

By far one of my favorite players and will be a huge part in the organizations future, IMO.
