2ForTripping Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Busy day on the radio, Torts is the new man behind the Ranger bench
That Aud Smell Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 interesting. nuts to the blue shirts getting a competent guy behind the bench.
Buffalo Wings Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 interesting. nuts to the blue shirts getting a competent guy behind the bench. That actually may be the medicine they needed. They haven't looked very inspiring or confident over the past few weeks, so a kick in the arse is exactly what Tortorella will be bringing.
samothyev Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Busy day on the radio, Torts is the new man behind the Ranger bench Linky please
wonderbread Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Good now Torts will end his TV career. He was even harder to watch tham Millbury.
R_Dudley Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Well good for him but bad for us. We still have one game left in 3 plus weeks against the Rags in NY. He should have them playing his system by about then. Add the hype that keeps growing from "THE HIT by the SNIT" and that should the make the final game pretty interesting on 3/21.
Stoner Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 What is this Firing the Coach Whose Teams Struggle to Make the Playoffs thing they speak of?
jad1 Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 What is this Firing the Coach Whose Teams Struggle to Make the Playoffs thing they speak of? An act of desperation by a big name GM who has made some lousy front office decisions?
That Aud Smell Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 What is this Firing the Coach Whose Teams Struggle to Make the Playoffs thing they speak of? whatever it is, it seems to affect teams with heavy payrolls and/or high expectations, with the latter being justifiably based on recent achievement and/or on-ice talent. it does not seem to have a similar effect on teams that are cobbled or patched together with duct tape and carpenter's glue. (:nana: )
Stoner Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 An act of desperation by a big name GM who has made some lousy front office decisions? Nah, Lindy still has his job.
