johnyvegas Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 Not sure how this plays into it.. but I live in Syracuse which is by definition of the NHL (i believe) a Sabres market. This is the first season that MSG HD and MSG+ HD have been added to my Time Warner lineup. The SD version of MSG broadcasts nearly every Sabres game. Some occasionally land on MSG+. But the MSGHD version plays whatever.. Rags, Islanders, Devils, basketball, hunting, etc. Even though the cable guide says it's Sabres game. So two things.. why the heck are they not playing the HD Sabres feed when they are available? And.. is Syracuse an "out of market" town subject to Center ICE or Direct TV blackouts. Seems to me that there's more of a feud than previously reported if TimeWarner in Syracuse is getting snubbed as well.
