tom webster Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 http://www.buffalonews.com/258/story/586013.html It will be interesting to see if they decide to activate Max before trade deadline. No roster limits after Martch 4th but they would have to send someone down before the deadline if they activate him.
shrader Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 And since they have a game that day, they Butler would miss a game if they decided to send him down. Maybe if Kaleta's going to be sitting a game they could send him down for a day.
Kristian Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 Not sure I understand Teppo's comments about how he expected it was going to happen at some point this season? Surely he must've been choosing the wrong wording, cause I doubt a guy like him expects to be a healthy scratch at some point, due to poor play?

He is getting beat to the corners with a flip when he is high in the defensive zone. He just doesn't have the speed anymore. Always loved Teppo, but it is finally time.

I would be highly surprised if Teppo: 1, doesn't retire at the end of the season 2, re-signs with the Sabres 3, even makes the roster for Team Finland for the 2010 Olympics. Jukka Jalonen has plenty of choices to put his team together for next February.

He should be getting a couple of games off here and there.
