What would make the Arena experience better?

It distracts everyone in your section not to mention thousands of viewers. It is a self-serving, childish act that should be banned from all arenas.

 

I disagree. Glass banging is a hockey tradition that should live on. In how many major sports can you come within an inch of touching the players (whether in love or hate) while they're doing their job? Using the logic I have seen in this thread, we should also kick out the people drinking alcohol. Those that over drink swear and start fights, so don't let anyone drink. Then we should take the next step and kick out those people that boo or whistle, because some of them are yelling obscenities that our kids will hear. By the end of this trend we'll have a hockey game with no one in the stands. This is hockey, glass banging stays and I love it when done with the right amount of enthusiasm.
