... Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 What's with Philly playing the icing rather than taking the face off?
RayFinkle Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Some Flyerphan quotes:   Spacek looks kinda fat to be a pro hockey player.Maybe its just me. I think it's mostly his sloping forehead and that retarded, sister-fu<king eastern euro look he's sporting. It's ok to hate him for it. Jeanneret calling a goal is like listening to a teenager who hasn't hit puberty try and sing. Nice save Marty you f'ing ass hat.honest to F UCK you think the worthless POS could make a couple of key saves a game. Is it too much to ask if Biron tore both of his ACL's on the way to the lockerroom?I'm so annoyed, I'm annoyed with the one-sided ****ing calls tonight and I'm annoyed with Biron's weakass play. **** you Koharski you fat pig. Not calling anything on a sabre.
wjag Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 That was another scary sequence... Come on Sabres...
Buffalo Wings Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 That was a SCARY sequence... Lucky to still be tied... Biron should have never played that puck.. And yet another one...rebound-o-rama.
... Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 It looks like Comedy-of-Errors Night for both teams. I think the Sabres are missing Kaleta's hustle.
wjag Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Flyers PP Damn.. Knuble.. Buffalo: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: Philadelphia: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:

FogBat Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Wonderful. Knuble scores on the PP
FogBat Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 It looks like Comedy-of-Errors Night for both teams. I think the Sabres are missing Kaleta's hustle. Good...point... Maybe the Mayor will tie it up with less than 10 seconds to go.
... Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Shoot out line up, should we be so lucky to get there: Roy Pominville Kotalik
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 terrible play by Teppo need to clear it out of the zone not slide it slowly behind your own net
... Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Teppo has looked like ass tonight. Conversely, Kotalik seems to have been actually trying.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 we need to get one here need the point
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Teppo has looked like ass tonight. Conversely, Kotalik seems to have been actually trying. Him and Lydman both
ROC Sabres Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Lemme just say that Lydman is as good of a defense man as i am a rocket scientist. I really hope we can package him and a stick for a bag of pucks.
wjag Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Empty Net goal by Richards Buffalo: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: Philadelphia: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Rivet you need to make sure the puck gets shot on net not given up at the blue line with an empty net behind ya. Dumb mistakes by the Rivet, Lydman and Teppo tonight
wjag Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Don't see this very often. Another empty net Buffalo: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: Philadelphia: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:
jwcolour Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Not good. They let us back in 3 times and we couldn't do anything about it. Bad play by D on their last PP goal... really would've liked to have gotten atleast 1 out of this.
... Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Well, if this game was "huge" and a "statement" like they were saying in the pre-game interviews then I think it was a huge statement in how interested they are in hitting the greens as early as possible.
SabreInFla Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Well, if this game was "huge" and a "statement" like they were saying in the pre-game interviews then I think it was a huge statement in how interested they are in hitting the greens as early as possible. I don't know.............I'm not convinced Philly is much better than the Sabres. The Lydman penalty lost the game.
FearTheReaper Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 I dont think the marginal of difference between the sabres, and the top teams in the east could be any clearer than it is after this loss. We were never ahead the entire game. We were never totally outplayed. We were just there. Thats the story with this team. And it has been for almost 2 sesaons now. Unless Regier realizes 2 things... 1.) We're not good enough defensivly to shut teams down. and 2.) Were not talented enough offensive to outscore teams. ..And then decides to make some changes. This is what were going to have to live with. Its a mediocre team, that is good enough to hang around and snag a 6th(at the highest) to 8th seed slot. I'm disgusted on so many levels. 2 consecutive ECF'S to this garbage. :wallbash:
