bob_sauve28 Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 What's happened to the Pens? They looked terrible. They lose a few key players and go right down. Nice to see Carolina lose, too

Eleven Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 Pittsburgh had a 2-0 lead and was all over Toronto in the first period--then something just broke.
wonderbread Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 Can't say that bothers me on bit. Won't be long before these sh!theads down here are talking about Steeler football again. Lord knows they wont be talking about the pirates.
NowDoYouBelieve Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 Can't say that bothers me on bit. Won't be long before these shitheads down here are talking about Steeler football again. Lord knows they wont be talking about the pirates. I've always found it funny that Pittsburgh has the most respected franchise in sports, and the least respected franchise in sports. Arguably.
bob_sauve28 Posted February 15, 2009 Author Report Posted February 15, 2009 Remember how the old Pittsburg(h) team with Lemieux use to make that late run for the playoffs, and get in, and win in the playoffs? That's what had me thinking these guys were going to do the same but after watching them last night they seem in disaster mode. Rangers look pretty bad, too

Well, if they're going to do that, they're going to do it with a new coach, because Therien has been fired.
Eleven Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 And now it looks like Pittsburgh-NYI is going to turn into a three-point game. Great. (Alright, I'm not too worried about the Islanders, but I don't want Pittsburgh getting a point just for taking this crappy game to OT.)
carpandean Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 I'm reasonably happy that Pittsburgh only came away with a point in a game with the Islanders. It's a game that they should have gotten two from (like we should have against Ottawa.)
