tom webster Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Surprised this hasn't garnered any attention on this board. Adam is the one center prospect in the organization with any kind of size and had been having a great season. INJURY UPDATE: Montreal Juniors centre Luke Adam remains in intensive car after rupturing his spleen during Sunday's game against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. Adam, a 19-year-old Buffalo Sabres draft choice, underwent two-hour emergency surgery earlier this week and is expected to remain in intensive care for at leas the next three days. A club spokesman said he will miss at least six to eight weeks due to the injury.
wonderbread Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Thanks for the update Tom. Glad to see that the injury at this point is not life threatening and also will not end his career.
LabattBlue Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Tough break for the kid. I would guess that he'll probably be shutdown for the season.
Two or less Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 wow. I'm glad it's not life threatening. I once read someone compare his game to Milan Lucic. Hope he has a strong recovery.
