... Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Shout out. Who's at the game tonight? Yo.
spndnchz Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 That was amusing, er motivating in a kinda different way. I like this analogy and my answer is up. We are going up baby. No reason to go back been there before, lets go where we haven't been this season for some time, like since around the 11th game. The heat is on.... and we need to bring it, loaded for bear, on the Sens tonight. Go Sabres Hockey ... the Final Frontier. Stardate 2009.2

Guess I'm thinking of a few cold ones at the arena tonight. Sec 318 chant starter.
inkman Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Hockey ... the Final Frontier. Stardate 2009.2 You're a trekky...don't tell drk4sabre (I think I totally screwed up his handle).
rickshaw Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Always leery when we play Ottawa. I hope we win. We should win. We need to win. And letter to Jason Pomminstein. You're getting lots of money to play hockey and you need to score more than every 20 games. Score !
... Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Always leery when we play Ottawa. I hope we win. We should win. We need to win. And letter to Jason Pomminstein. You're getting lots of money to play hockey and you need to score more than every 20 games. Score ! The worst parts of an Ottawa game are already under wraps: Neil is out and therefore can't sucker anyone; and Vanek is out and can't sustain an injury during the game.
spndnchz Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 You're a trekky...don't tell drk4sabre (I think I totally screwed up his handle). I've 'inherited' a bunch from my brothers. Being forced to watch hockey and then really getting into it. Now I drive them crazy instead. Trekky, meh, I do know that Ottawa must be assimilated.
Patty16 Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 As Bill Shatner would say: weve....got to.....beat ....ottawatonight
ROC Sabres Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 ...and as are the General and Ellis. May as well add Gerbe, too, since he wasn't so good the last time he was up.And, no, I am not stalking you. I don't blame General and Ellis as much as Hecht and Pommers. They are getting paid big to play big, the other two are just guys that are good to see getting points and anything we get out of them is a bonus if you ask me. As for the stalking, as long as you keep the Jesus/Miller pic, I don't mind.
SwampD Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 I think their top line scares us early. Then, when granpappy Teppo settles all the kids down, we take over and win this one going away.
R_Dudley Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 As Bill Shatner would say: weve....got to.....beat ....ottawatonight Now "Your just speaking the language of the deal " , and this is the deal "The Sens are going down" At first I read that as beer and yelled woo-who. But bear is okay too. Guess I'm thinking of a few cold ones at the arena tonight. Sec 318 chant starter. and if it helps, "come loaded for beer" or "come for beer, loaded" just don't drive if your doing that.
R_Dudley Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Hockey ... the Final Frontier. Stardate 2009.2 I've 'inherited' a bunch from my brothers. Being forced to watch hockey and then really getting into it. Now I drive them crazy instead. Trekky, meh, I do know that Ottawa must be assimilated. I'm going to guess second generation, too young for first  and another thing some of us sabres fans have in common, sci fi, thats cool and maybe also; a love of beer, a loathing for Sens, and Philly, and Rangers, and anyteam not Bflo in the east, and spandex on heavy woman ...
ROC Sabres Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Just an FYI... Sabres new pre-game video is on their website now Not bad but nothing will be "better days" You know the place
Strow Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Game is on NHL network in case it hasn't been posted.
carpandean Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Just an FYI... Sabres new pre-game video is on their website now Not bad but nothing will be "better days" You know the place If you ask me, it's a little ho'key. ;)
ROC Sabres Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 If you ask me, it's a little ho'key. ;) That's why i said not bad But hey, at least Pommers can score there
Two or less Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Just got a feeling.... Pominville scores two... Gerbe gets his first NHL goal.
Stoner Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Three teams right behind us. Three teams right ahead of us. Which way will we go? The answer starts tonight. Funny. We all thought the month of January, with all those road games, would be the true test of this team. It's turn out the next month without Vanek will be it.
ROC Sabres Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 Anyone hear anything about the lines yet?
tulax Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 Anyone hear anything about the lines yet? On the pregame show Hamilton reported that he saw the top two lines as: Stafford-Connolly-Hecht Gerbe-Roy-Pominville

SwampD Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 On the pregame show Hamilton reported that he saw the top two lines as: Stafford-Connolly-Hecht Gerbe-Roy-Pominville Those are two pretty good lines in my eyes. I'm kinda excited to see how they work out.
ExiledInIllinois Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 One shot, one goal for OTT. :death:
