FogBat Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 I've know for a long time that something was in the water in Hollywood, but this proves it.
jwcolour Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 sweet they should also remake Citizen Kane, Maltese Falcon, Casablanca. Lawrence of Arabia also sounds like a great movie to remake.
Bmwolf21 Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 I've know for a long time that something was in the water in Hollywood, but this proves it. I'd like to meet the guy who greenlit this project and punch him in the face - while wearing the foil.
FogBat Posted February 11, 2009 Author Report Posted February 11, 2009 Remove the words "these guys are a" at 1:53 of , and that's what I think of them remaking this cult classic of a movie. Disclaimer: I hate using profanity, but I am only bringing this up for the sake of argument.
nobody Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 They've already made Slap Shot 2 & 3 so I guess it was time for the remake.

Kristian Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 Much like the steaming pile of feces that was Rocky V, I choose to deny the existence of any such sequels to Slap Shot. Never saw any of them, and I intend to keep it that way.
Guest Sloth Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 Never saw any of them, and I intend to keep it that way. Do you mean you've never seen any of the Rocky movies? You're missing out. 1 and 2 were incredible. 3, 4 and 6 were fun. If they did a remake of Rocky, I'd puke.

If they did a remake of Rocky, I'd puke. Nope, I meant Slapshot 2 & 3. Saw all the Rocky movies, and yes 1 & 2 were the better of the bunch there. Of course I was about 13 when Rocky IV came out, and used to think 3 & 4 were the movies to end all movies, so the appreciation for 1 & 2 didn't surface until later.
bob_sauve28 Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 5-2 with 6 to go in the 3rd. Never ever thought I wouldn't have a problem with the Cryers winning. I think Star Trek 2 was the best of those movies. ST5 was pretty good, too

Supersabre Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 In the write up on this remake if that's what you want to call it.....they said that Paul Newman was a fake "hoky coach." I wonder what hocky is? and how do you play this sport? Guess someone forgot to use spell check.
ROC Sabres Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 They've already made Slap Shot 2 & 3 so I guess it was time for the remake. They never made a Slap Shot 2 and 3. No matter what the video store, universal, paramount or imdb say. They never existed.
