sabre31_98 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 I think word will get out that he has had absolutely no support so far.
Corp000085 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 scoooooooooooooores! hecht scores on a briere pass to the front... lucky goal, but it may be enough to wake this team the f--- up.
sabre31_98 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 well, i'll take that. one more quick one to get back in this. these are the worst commentators I have ever heard in my life. I would actually rather be watching last nites TSN broadcast again.
Corp000085 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 sabre, i was actually pleasantly suprised with the TSN guys last night. they had been much worse in the past, but they were tolerable last night... i guess it was cause their national disgrace got bi+chslapped. things might have been different if the laffs were actually beating us
sabre31_98 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 i agree, last night wasn't so bad but these guys are torturing me. it is not like we are playing Calgary, we are in the same division. you would think they would take the time to at least get the players name's right!
Corp000085 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 yeah, gaustad, afinogenov, hecht, biron, pyatt, gahbage, and cah have all been mispronounced tonight... although, on a positive note, i was reminded that flutie magic lives during the first commercial break.
bob_sauve28 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 Buffalo's speed starting to take over the game
Corp000085 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 and briere scores!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good thing i was watching... these announcers put viewers in a trance when "away team" has the puck
Eleven Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 If it makes you NESN watchers feel any better, MSG isn't doing so well tonight, either. Rick's already complained once about a lack of replay.

Rick's already complained once about a lack of replay. well, msg is just a stopgap to hold t hings over for golisano's sabres network [/dream] dumont scores! 3-2 sabres this is it... i'm getting my hernia fixed on monday and turning into a bad ass pimp like briere has. 3 points tonight! dumont scores! 3-2 sabres this is it... i'm getting my hernia fixed on monday and turning into a bad ass pimp like briere has. 3 points tonight! edit: oops
sabre31_98 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 wow, what a goal. i am really impressed with this team. after such a poor start they have scored 3 straight. when was the last time a sabres team was able to play competitively in Friday home and Saturday away games. The saturday road game was always a guaranteed loss. Let's hope this continues cause if they win this game, watch out Eastern Conference; this team won't be stopped.

No doubt! i saw the score 2-0 on espn ticker, and thought oh crap its over, but these guys dont quit. I love it. Its like they arent from Bflo! Is this Hecht's first game back?
Seannie34 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 nope Hecht has been back since the Olympic break ended.
Eleven Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 Biron is working way too hard again--probably looks good to the scouts I mentioned earlier, but how long can he keep this up?
Corp000085 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 that tanabe guy's face is really messed up. i bet he broke a bone in his face.
Eleven Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 18-4 SOG (Boston has more) with 8 mins. left in the third. 44-24 in the game so far. Ugly.
Corp000085 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 maybe trading biron is a bad idea... he's a pretty good insurance policy at the moment. trade noronen for draft picks and ride the talent we have now. kalinin will be back soon to ease the defensive pressure and relieve fitzpatrick of his duties...
Larry Playfair Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 on the radio they are gushimg over birons performance tonight, hope he gets the W.
Assquatch Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 Max Afinogenov = Travis Henry. Dance... dance... dance... fumble.

Amen brother. It's nearly unbelieveable that the Sabres are still on top in this one.
