Buffalo Wings Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Nice rush by Buffalo.. Roy from the slot Roloson is heading for the showers.. Buffalo: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: Edmonton: Oh sure....the first game all year I can't get on tv. <_< :w00t:
jwcolour Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Uh oh.. Rivet is down again... Looks like he got caught with a skate in the groin... Seems to be skating it off.. Gettin hit in the Cherry's is never fun...atleast it wears off after a few minutes
... Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 I'll be curious as this West Coast stretch continues, but after watching a lot of NHL on the Fly this season I have the impression that the West is the weaker conference - which is odd because I always recall the west being considered "tougher".
Foxual Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Who's on the radio call with Harry Neale?
jwcolour Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Oh sure....the first game all year I can't get on tv. <_< :w00t: I'm streaming it here http://atdhe.net/live-tv-2.php?i=710
TheMadCap Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Connolly got hit by a puck. How long is the China Doll out for this time? Any guesses?
Sluglord Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Who's on the radio call with Harry Neale? Former Jets (Winnipeg, not New York) announcer Curt Keilbeck.
... Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Miller is Zen. Damn, he needed his third eye to see that one.
Foligno's Nose Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 His goal call on the first goal was weak.. I think it caught everyone by surprise.. I think all three goals caught him by suprise. Good game for him so far. He sounds a little like Emrick. I just do not care for Emrick though. Here is an obvious but necessary comment: It's not the same with out RJ. 3-0...Pack it in early risers.
Foxual Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Former Jets (Winnipeg, not New York) announcer Curt Keilbeck. yeah, he sounds like he hasn't worked in awhile ;)
Buffalo Wings Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 I'm liking the the Oiler's broadcasters. None of that gravelly-voiced yelling, but a good calling voice. And their comments are even-handed. I just got the Rogers Sportsnet feed....agree - I like the play-by-play guy so far. Who are they?
jwcolour Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Now we know why Vanek isn't a defenseman
... Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Has Connolly had a shift since being hit with the puck?
jwcolour Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Has Connolly had a shift since being hit with the puck? yeah he was just out
... Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 yeah he was just out I guess I didn't notice him although I was looking for him.
ROC Sabres Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Of all the games i have to watch on justin.tv, i tell ya keep it up sabres!
wjag Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Very nice period by the good guys... Anyone notice TB is leading the Habs in the 3rd, 4-2?
Buffalo Wings Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Very nice period by the good guys... Anyone notice TB is leading the Habs in the 3rd, 4-2? Yep....something's in the water in TB, apparently.
SabresFan526 Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Well, that was pretty much the perfect road period. Wow, Roloson looked absolutely awful there. Well, I've seen this team give up 3 goal leads before, so we have to keep putting pedal to the medal and make sure we play the next two periods like we did the first period.
SabresFan526 Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Yep....something's in the water in TB, apparently. Maybe it's Stamkos' new workout regimen.
Two or less Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Yeah some weird out of town scores. Sabres are playing great. Edmonton has a lot of shots on goal, but not too many high quality shots. I'll take quality over quantity any day... and Edmonton just can't get the right chances. I am also liking Marc-Andre Gragnani. He seems pretty sound defensively. Didn't think he made any mistakes and he jumped in on the attack few times. The one play where he made that pass to Derek Roy was really nice, although i think he should have just shot it, or Roy should have shot it as he got it... but still nice play.
... Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 I just got the Rogers Sportsnet feed....agree - I like the play-by-play guy so far. Who are they? Dunno, but they were saying a lot of nice things about the Sabres during the first period.
