Bobby Ryan is a rising star in the NHL, a premier power forward already in his rookie season. Bobby Ryan is going to be a star for years to come in this league. This rumour is stupid because no way the Ducks would trade Ryan and i'm sure every single NHL team out there would be interested in Ryan. I think you just hit the nail on the head. No way would they trade him. These rumors suck :thumbdown:

These rumors suck :thumbdown: If there is any truth to these rumours, Eklund probably got Bobby Ryan and Micheal Ryan mixed up. I can totally see Darcy Regier bring back Mike Ryan for some odd reason.

Does Ryan play with Getzlaf and if so, how much of Ryan's early season success is because of playing with a true #1 center? He's played on several lines. I've seen him with Getzlaf, Morrison or Ebbett at center. He did get a natural hat trick when playing with Getzlaf, so it definitely helped. Guest Sloth Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 The only Eklund Sabres rumor that turned out to be true was the Sabres contract deal w/ Jochen Hecht. *That is in recent memory. Bobby Ryan has the level of talent every GM has seen. He's not another "Darcy find." GM's across the NHL would love to get a hold of this guy.
