Foligno's Nose Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Really?? I'd love to know where. I'm in Debary, not too far a drive for some decent wings..... Agreed on Anchor Bar. Great touristy stop, but that's about it. La Nova's has decent wings, and a great Chicken Finger Pizza. I miss good food........ Oh ya, Sabres in a whitewash 5-0. After initially shunning their arrival here in Buffalo, I really appreciate what 'Buffalo Wild Wings' has to offer. I just never thought a franchised wing place would ever make a go here. They won me over after numerous return visits and they are on my top-ten. If there is one down by you guys in Florida, check them out. They do justice to our wings, plus have a decent franchise to boot. It was started by ex-Buffalo guys anyhoo. Now, I'm getting hungry.
Foligno's Nose Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 I would talk some smack if the Canes wern't so bad this year. Sabres 6-2 Thanks Rod!!!
Foligno's Nose Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Winning face-offs = priceless Any reason Detroit dominates? Hmmmmm.
Hawerchuk Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Dan Paille, my new whippin' boy!
deluca67 Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Why is a 60 minute effort from this team way too much to ask?
Foligno's Nose Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Yeah, what did happen to Paille. Great shift and superb passing between Roy and Pommer on that PK. S l o w l y b u t s u rely - TC getting chances and producing. Hooray! (fingers crossed). Nice start to this game. On the commercial flip to HNIC - just weird that Toronto is not playing on a Saturday night.
Foligno's Nose Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Nice start to this game. Sorry - EXCELLENT start to this game.
stenbaro Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Count this as a vote for Duff's. I will second that  On a side note Timmy is looking like our best center in the first period so far

When we lived in Fla we loved the wings at Miller's Ale House. Wings are decent size, good sauce, good blue cheese, decent prices. Just make sure you order them "naked" (no breading) and you'll feel like you're right back in Buffalo. And with that I'll stop the hijack of the GDT.

They have a Santora's (Tonawanda) in Daytona Beach, but I've only gotten a sub and a pizza from there. Haven't tried the wings yet.
Buffalo Fan Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 I'm glad they are playing pretty well tonight...this upcoming road trip looks like a B-E-A-R!!!!!!!!!!
SwampD Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 When's the last time we scored a shorty?
Foligno's Nose Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 this upcoming road trip looks like a B-E-A-R!!!!!!!!!! No. No bears. Panthers and some Coyotes at the end of the month Some Ducks (twice) and Sharks in February. but no bears. I'm glad they are playing pretty well tonight... They SHOULD play well at home dammitt. They often don't, but need to own their barn a LOT better. That will solidify our playoff spot.
Foligno's Nose Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 That would have been Rivet-ing. Wow, fast period.
Foligno's Nose Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Stupid, stupid, stupid HSBC logging/ tree-hugger ad. For the hundredth time. Mix them up a little. (please excuse my sugar rush-induced posts)
