To collect two very crucial points in the standings. The Pirates did just that as Jhonas Enroth made 37 saves and Nathan Gerbe scored a pair of goals to lift Portland over the Providence Bruins, 5-3, in front of 9,171 at the Dunkin Donuts Center on Friday night. carpandean Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Gerbe now leads all AHL rookies in goals and points despite having played less games than all but one player (#10, 2 less games, 5 less goals, 8 less points) in the top 20. He's also tied for 5th amongst all players in goals despite having played less games than everyone in the top 20.
