If the Sabres aren't ready to play a LOT better than in the past 2 games, they will lose for the 3rd game in a row.

Last year he was very good and a lot of people, including myself at times were rallying for him to be the captain. Now, he is far from that. His points are low this year and may in fact be a bit inflated because when he was playing with Vanek early in the year, and everything that touched Vanek's stick was goal bound. I'll save the rest of my Pominville gripes for another thread. Skate hard tonight boys! GO SABRES!!!

Back to back games just don't leave you much time to talk about working harder, putting your nose to the grindstone, skate harder, get shots on goal, play better in your own end, be more discplined, capitalize on your PP's, and be physical, does it?

They can do that as much as they want IMO on the bus ride home AFTER THEY WIN THE GAME!!!! Butler is playing as well as Miller. A feel a bunch of Sabres goals going in tonight.

Hopefully the team can pull together here and put on a show. The goal production has been killing this team. No debates about it Miller needs to step up and close a game and the boys need to put the bisket in the basket. I got my old goathead out of the closet and I have a few Blues so i'm gonna party like its 1999.

They play in the western conference which is still game for game the more physical conference. These boy's better show up tonight and play with some passion and fire because they sure didn't do it enough as a team last night. Alright time to turn this road trip around. Two or less Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 And just like that, a nice little win streak turns into a 3 game losing streak.... unreal. Sabres look lost. Unmotivated. Lazy. Dallas should have no problems putting 6 on us tonight.
