BSABRES269 Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 I live in Florida, just got back from visiting family in Buffalo for Christmas. Now I'm in the rhythm of watching Sabres games whenever they are on, which I can't do down here sadly. Is there anyway to watch them online? I know theres NHL Center Ice but I really don't have the money to spend on it.

I use this site when I don't feel like going all the way to the sabres bar to watch. http://www.myp2p.eu/competition.php?compet...pline=icehockey some of the feeds make you download an application, but the adhte (or something like that) feed is flash and the quality is usually pretty good.

I have been away from WNY for four seasons before this one, but always said that it was way too expensive to get Center Ice (being a college student). Well, I finally got some roommates to split it with me this year, and I love it! And in retrospect, I probably would have tried to squeeze a little extra money the past four seasons if I knew it was worth it. If you get Center Ice for $160 and watch all 82 games, turns out to be $2/game. (Although I may be biased because I'm working this year, so I've seen all games except the Ottawa one this year; this habit could be bad for when I go to grad school next year.... :death: ) Good luck! And Go Sabres!

Foligno's Nose Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 Sometimes they are on here: http://www.channelsurfing.net/ When I first saw the thread title - Ways to watch Sabres games? - I was thinking something else like drunk sober angry frustrated on the couch in the basement at a bar etc... Good luck with your quest. Let's go Buffalo!
smith Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 yahoo shows games fairly regularly...every once in a while it's a sabres game.

Buy a couple drinks and most of those places are happy to put on a game you might request. I know it may be tough living in Florida, but just a suggestion.
Ohiofan Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 Something to think about...Center Ice usually offers a half-price ($75.00 or so) deal midway through the season.
Guest Sloth Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 ADHTE actually has it's own site. I've been able to watch every single game I've had time for and the picture/sound quality is good. It actually provides a better picture than yahoo...possibly center ice.
Hawerchuk Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 1st choice: CENTER ICE Package. Hands down the best. 2nd choice: Try NHL Gamecenter. Kinda pricey at $23/mo. but if you need your fix.... well, you'll have to spluge a little. Try this link and read about it: http://www.nhl.com/gamecenter/index.html LETS GO BUFFALO!!
