Crestwood Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 This is like the reverse of the Caps game a few days ago. B-)
DR HOLLIDAY Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Keep it up boys.............
Crestwood Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Hmm. Mair seems to be taking a lot of ticky-tack penalties lately. Let's see how this vaunted Boston PP performs.
darksabre Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Keep this going for the rest of the game. Please Please Please. I neeeeeed this win.
Two or less Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Sabres up 2-0 UB up 20-10 vs. UConn. So far so good for Buffalo!
SabreInFla Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Unnecessary penalty. <_< Big time...................
wjag Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Boston PP Kessel gets a great feed from Savard Buffalo: :worthy: :worthy: Boston: :censored:
darksabre Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 All Goose for not playing Savard harder. Cmon goose.
Buffalo Wings Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Big time................... And Miller had no chance. Bad penalty...the type of things they can't do.
SabreInFla Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Get the momentum back immediately on this pp!!!!!
darksabre Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Ugh horrendous give away by pommers. Please guys, not the defeat from the jaws of victory thing again.
SabreInFla Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 This has all of the makings of a melt down...............get it together!!!!
wjag Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 I'm glad that was a too many men penalty.. I didn't think there was anything wrong with the defense on the giveaway..
SabreInFla Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 I'm glad that was a too many men penalty.. I didn't think there was anything wrong with the defense on the giveaway.. I thought the same thing..........
darksabre Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Boston woke up. This is going to be a tough game today.
R_Dudley Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Good solid first period road game. Bad penalty by mair but a better play by savard on goal.. Now the problem is Boston gets stronger as game goes on can bflo keep it up. We need to continue to go hard on puck as they were saying to keep the play in boston end and we have to watch that "drive the middle play"(player goes wide on defense can always expect somebody for boston driving middle hard to the net) gotta guard that .... Lets go buffalo no wilting here and Roy if you take on Chara again I'll love it :worthy:
wjag Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Boston woke up. This is going to be a tough game today. So far so good.. You can definitely see why Boston is sporting the record they have..
jrsarkov Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 we are dangerously bad with a 2 goal lead
Crestwood Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 This has been an exciting game so far, and the Bruins have reminded me several times why I despise them (and especially Chara) so much. Both teams have been moving the puck extremely well, save for a few horrendous Sabres giveaways. I feel the refs should swallow the whistles a bit ? that interference penalty on Vanek was pretty questionable, at least from the MSG replay angle. Telling stats: Lindy seems to have forgiven Hecht pretty quickly; he finished 7:05 in playing time in the first. Meanwhile, the current fourth-liners (Max, Mac and Paille) all have 1:34 or less.
Cereal Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Sabres up 2-0UB up 20-10 vs. UConn. So far so good for Buffalo! I like how halftime happened to coincide exactly with the 1st intermission. Hopefully we'll be able to see end of 4th quarter during 2nd intermission?
BeeWhy5 Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Hope Miller stands up the rest of this game. He has made some big saves but has looked extremely slow going side to side at times and savard and kessels speed will eat that up.
wjag Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Matt Ellis on pace for a hattie.. That was flat out nice.. Buffalo: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: Boston: :censored:
Buffalo Wings Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 So far so good.. You can definitely see why Boston is sporting the record they have.. What impresses me the most is how they move the puck. Enough to make Ken Dryden dizzy.
