shoveldog Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 Well, obviously not. Obviously YES. It's just that the best this group has to offer isn't good enough. Again, how is that the coach's fault?
Kristian Posted January 1, 2009 Author Report Posted January 1, 2009 Pominville is proving that he can only succeed with a good center (Connolly, Briere). He is a not a guy to count on. Perhaps when/if Connolly makes it back, Pominville picks it up. He doesn't even have chances, he's just out there coughing the puck up on lame empty-net attempts, and failing to clear the puck on the PK. Fixed it for you
deluca67 Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 Who is thie Rivet you speak of? I saw that the team had someone on the roster named Rivet in the preseason but I haven't seen him since then! Makes you wonder why a team like the Sharks that is considered a Cup contender was in such a hurry to dump him for a couple of picks? Early results indicate the Sharks got the best of that deal. The Sabres are heading for no playoffs, they still have no veteran leadership and they are out a couple of picks.
