Corp000085 Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 7:00pm First of all, sorry about the quick unpin of the kings GDT and the night-before pin of this one. I am driving all day tomorrow to the in-laws house in ohio so I will neither be able to post on here tomorrow nor will I be able to watch the game. Honestly, I care about one thing, and that's seeing a big fat W in the victory column sunday morning. Don't really care how it happens, don't reall care about the score. Just care about the two points. LETS GO BUFFALO!

Honestly, I care about one thing, and that's seeing a big fat W in the victory column sunday morning. Don't really care how it happens, don't reall care about the score. Just care about the two points. LETS GO BUFFALO! Honestly, I think this is how Buffalo needs to play from here on in. Don't worry about being pretty. If they can make this game ugly and slow down Montreal, they have a legitamate shot at winning this game. I also think that Miller should start this game. I haven't been a huge fan of how he's played in net this year, but he had a decent game last night, why slow his momentum by sitting him the next night. Give him a shot to lead this team tonight. Go Sabres!
carpandean Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 We're playing a good team and it's on the road. For most teams those would be bad things. For the Sabres, that seems to be when they are at their best. Let's hope that trend continues.
nfreeman Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 I want Lalime tonight. He won and played well in his last start. Miller doesn't need to play 3 games in 4 nights, including the 2nd game of a back-to-back on the road after a late plane trip. The Habs beat Philly on thursday (in Komisarek's return from the DL), but before that had lost 4 out of 5. Price is out injured; Halak has started 5 in a row. Kovalev went 19 games w/o scoring a goal (before scoring in their last 2 games) but is still tied for the team scoring lead with 7 goals & 24 points (he's tied with Markov, a defenseman). Habs' lines: First Line: Andrei Kostitsyn, Tomas Plekanec, Alex Kovalev. Second Line: Alex Tanguay, Robert Lang, Matt D?Agostini. Third Line: Guillaume Latendresse, Maxim Lapierre, Tom Kostopoulos. Fourth Line: Georges Laraque, Steve Begin, Sergei Kostitsyn. We can beat them. Go Sabres.

They don't scare any one...
carpandean Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 First Line: Andrei Kostitsyn, Tomas Plekanec, Alex Kovalev. Or not ... http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/story/2008...s-injuries.html Sounds like it will be: First Line: Sergei Kostitsyn, Tomas Plekanec, Alex Kovalev. Second Line: Alex Tanguay, Robert Lang, Matt D'Agostini. Third Line: Guillaume Latendresse, Maxim Lapierre, Tom Kostopoulos. Fourth Line: Georges Laraque, Steve Begin, Ben Maxwell.

I know I shouldn't be talking about Ottawa on this thread, but man, that team has really sunk to the bottom. Of course, I'm happy about that, but I am rather surprised. Ottawa has pretty much sucked since the mid-way point of last season. I'm sure their management team is thinking they invested way too much in their top line.

DR HOLLIDAY Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 Excellent point. They have lost a lot of their depth this past year. You can't really blame them, they took their shots at the Cup and now they gotta rework things..............If they had won it then they would be sitting pretty, but I like that they are falling apart...........Now bring me the head of Chris Neil, I need a new beer mug.............

If I remember right it was the Lang line that gave us trouble the last couple of games any time we were in trouble. They need to take care of lines 1 and 2 if they want a good chance of winning.

And I can dig that,...but W.A.S.P. C'mon. Triumph was great. A nice blast from the past and a good band. But W.A.S.P. C'mon. I still say it works and we win 4-2.
wjag Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 Very surpirsed that Miller is starting...
ROC Sabres Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 Harry Neale does it again "I'd rather sandpaper a bobcats rear end in a phone booth than fight laraque"
Kristian Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 Oh no.... Tallydman again...........
wjag Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 This is shaping up to be a wild game... Lots of scoring chances early...
SwampD Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 Unless all he does is swat it out, Kotalik should not be allowed to touch the puck in our own end.
Kristian Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 ROY! Nice wrister! *edit Anyone else think he would've tried a drop pass at home? ;)
wjag Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 Very nice top shelf shot by Roy... beat the goalie clean Buffalo: :worthy: Montreal:
Buffalo Fan Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 The young man seems to be warming up...and growing up!!
