What a relief that King Sundin is ready to make a decision. Then all eyes can focus on the annual "what is Forsberg going to do?". <_<

Looks like he's not quite ready ...

I have to assume that he's waiting for the Rangers to figure out how to dump one of their overpriced contracts. If he were going to Vancouver, it would be a relatively simple process.

NYR has been struggling big time. Drury has like 1 goal in last 13 games too. He was just boooed the other night. LOL

I will take struggling if tha means 6 wins 4 losses in the last 10 games...LOL...2 goals 3 assists in his past 5 games..I guess I would boo that also.. :wallbash:

The holiday roster freeze that hits tomorrow really can't help with this matter either.

Looks like we both may be correct:

and it may take a lot less freed cap space to make it happen. Of course, this article is from the New York Post, so who knows how accurate it is. He is probably waiting for them to clear space, but $6 million may be wishful thinking.

The Sedin twins are probably watching Sundin highlight DVD's in their underwear right now.

I know Henrik and Mats are both centers, but wouldn't you love to see a Sedin-Sundin-Sedin line? It would be crazy for the play-by-play guy!

Henrik taking the back-seat to Sundin and playing wing? or two lines?

I have a hard time believing the Rangers would do this with how well the team has been playing and also Mats might not want to be in the East seeing his old team so often , so with that I'm thinking/leaning towards Vancover....

Wow, I guess the Rangers couldn't clear enough to make him a serious offer. If only they hadn't signed all those overpriced free agents ... ;)

Nice.... Now with our luck Vancover wins a cup before the Sabres....

Even with Sundin, I don't think Vancouver has a chance of surpassing San Jose or Detroit.

Sundin has been extremely durable(70+ games a season for his entire career except for 94-95) and has been a point per game player, but you have to wonder at 37(will turn 38 in February) how much he has left in the tank.
