nobody Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Someone better make sure there's not hydrogen in the Sabres zeppelin.
Kristian Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Please your one of the highest paid players on the team and expected to be one of the leaders and and you can't take some critique ? Therein lies the rub with this team. Probably nobody in the brat pack likes to be called out.. <_< Well played . :D Couldn't agree more. Spoiled by two ECF appearances apparently. "No more mornings off" according to Ruff. You can't tell me he hasn't seen that Roy picture, and told the guys that if they're going to go out and get wasted, they'd better be prepared to taste it all again at next morning's puke skate. I'm loving this one.
darksabre Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 So does Lalime get the start on Saturday then?

I'm loving this one. LINK Lindy Ruff went after his team loud and hard for over an hour today in Tampa. Ruff did not like the effort at times that he got. He said, "It wasn't good enough. I don't care if we got 46 shots, I thought our last couple of shifts, even with our goaltender pulled lacked intensity. It lacked desparation and it almost led to an empty net goal against and I was disappointed." Ruff liked his defense against Florida, but said, "I didn't like what some our forwards did. It wasn't good enough. If our five-on-five scoring is going to be better, our forwards have to do more." Ruff wasn't finished, "I'm not going to accept two or three shifts off at the end of the game. I'm not going to accept it in the middle of the second period. We've got some guys that lose hope to quick, get frustrated and lose hope. That's a couple of our skill guys. They lose hope and then their fett quit moving and pretty soon, we're chasing peole down the ice." On a side note, I'd like to give Paul Hamilton this: It's a block of white space. He can use it to break up thoughts, sentences, whatever - so his writing doesn't turn into one giant run-on paragraph. I'm also going to throw in a spellchecker. "their fett quit moving?" WTF, Paul?
SabresFan526 Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 god, just when i thought things couldn't get any worse. Miller's Feelings Hurt. Good, Miller should be upset and pissed off. I tend to think he's a better goalie when he's angry anyway. He should channel that anger into solid goaltending to show up his coach. What I imagine will happen is he'll get a shutout against Tampa, make a wise crack remark in the media about Ruff and how he all of a sudden learned how to read and then put up his normal performance against Pittsburgh where he will give up one softy and a transition goal where no forward comes back to backcheck and take out a trailer who's skating freely in the slot.
