Mike Ramsey Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 RW seems to be a big topic considering we are losing Max. There is a guy I know that lives in Chicago and is currently playing out to next year. Mr Kane welcome to Buffalo? The cap will be there once we get rid of Max and that other waste of time Connolly. Hell, Gerbe could do what Connolly is giving you. At least he can actually take the ice.
carpandean Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 The cap will be there once we get rid of Max and that other waste of time Connolly. FYI, any cap savings from Max and Timmy will be used up by the increases due to Miller's and Pominville's new contracts, which start next year.
Supersabre Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 Is this rumor, hearsay, or is there credible evidence, and or are you just posing a hypothetical?
tom webster Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 Let's not forget that Kane will be a restricted free agent till he is 26, Chicago ownership has more money then God and just as Miller didn't burn to play ib Detroit, Kane may not burn to play in Buffalo.
Two or less Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 Let's not forget that Kane will be a restricted free agent till he is 26, Chicago ownership has more money then God and just as Miller didn't burn to play ib Detroit, Kane may not burn to play in Buffalo. Not that i think it's true, but their owners having more money then "god" has nothing to do with Kane not coming here.
tom webster Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 Not that i think it's true, but their owners having more money then "god" has nothing to do with Kane not coming here. Point was that as a restricted free agent, Blackhawks would match any offer Buffalo could afford to make
SDS Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Chicago ownership has more money then God... Actually, the Man upstairs was just recently in Washington looking for his share of the bailout money. ;)
LabattBlue Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Point was that as a restricted free agent, Blackhawks would match any offer Buffalo could afford to make I agree. No way they let Kane walk as a RFA. UFA status is a whole different ball game, but since that is years away, not much sense in even considering it.
