matter2003 Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 Now all the Bills have to do is lose in KC tomorrow for our 3rd straight 0-3 weekends by our sport teams...how pathetic can it get?
Buffalo Fan Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SwampD Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 and if my hockey team loses tomorrow as well, it will be my third straight 0-4 weekend. ouch!
Chief Enabler Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 This is starting to be as regular as complaint Thursdays. The only positive I can add is the Canisus/UB basketball game this past week. We won!
Corp000085 Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 UB won friday... But, i'm convinced that the bills will lose today and look horrible in doing so. Till they prove me wrong, i'm sticking with that!
inkman Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 But, i'm convinced that the bills will lose today and look horrible in doing so. Till they prove me wrong, i'm sticking with that! Many people tried to point out that the Bills weren't very good all year long. Any time a poster tried to warn everyone about this, they were ridiculed and labeled incompetent. How are those posters regarded now?

Till they prove me wrong, i'm sticking with that! I'm going to go with: they'll have a brain fart and pull out a solid win before returning to normal next week.
John Gianelli Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 I'm going to go with: they'll have a brain fart and pull out a solid win before returning to normal next week. As I said on the Bills board a little while ago, if someone had told you at the beginning of the year that by week 11 UB football would be ahead of Virginia, Notre Dame, Auburn, Tennessee, Purdue, Michigan, and UCLA in the RPI, would you have believed it?
elcrusho Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 Now all the Bills have to do is lose in KC tomorrow for our 3rd straight 0-3 weekends by our sport teams...how pathetic can it get? You can always leave the city...then you won't have to worry anymore...

Knightrider Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 You can always leave the city...then you won't have to worry anymore... elcrusho, it is a lot harder to get Buffalo out of you than it is to get out of Buffalo...
carpandean Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 Wait, is that ... no, it can't be ... a glimmer of hope is Western NY?! Buf 54 - KC 31
DR HOLLIDAY Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 Wait, is that ... no, it can't be ... a glimmer of hope is Western NY?! Buf 54 - KC 31 Trent "wheels" Edwards............
Bmwolf21 Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 Wait, is that ... no, it can't be ... a glimmer of hope is Western NY?! Buf 54 - KC 31 It's great that they beat up on the Chiefs, if for no other reason than breaking their losing skid. But this is a vintage Jauron-coached team - beating up on lesser team and crapping the bed against good competition. I'll be much more excited if we beat the Phins in two weeks and start making some hay in the division. I am glad to see Edwards put together a very strong bounce-back performance this week - he was absolutely awful on MNF.
Stoner Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 I like to be melodramatic, but on that first TE run, time could have stood still when he looked at the sideline. Either he was going to be an NFL quarterback stud or a flash in the pan fancy boy. When he cut back and almost got decapitated and scored, a star was born! It was Jim Kelly in Miami all over again. The end.
Claude Balls Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 I hope the Sabres were watching closely. They might have learned a few things, especially how to close the deal when you have the lead. I still think Jauron blows as a HC.
JujuFish Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 Trent "wheels" Edwards............ First Bills QB since Kemp to score 2 rushing TDs.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 First Bills QB since Kemp to score 2 rushing TDs. Man thats a long time, lol............
ExiledInIllinois Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 I think the news wire also reported (which I find hard to believe) that the 54 points put up against the Chefs (and yes, I said Chefs... One of my all time favorite commercials is the Snickers one and the endzone paintiing job!) was the most ever against KC. And does anyone find it ironic that the Titans get beat by a team that were the original Titans (Jets)... Strange... Kinda like MIA standing in the way of a team that would go undefeated (ie: 1985 Bears)...
inkman Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 The Bills are still not a good team...just better than the Chefs.
LabattBlue Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 As I said on the Bills board a little while ago, if someone had told you at the beginning of the year that by week 11 UB football would be ahead of Virginia, Notre Dame, Auburn, Tennessee, Purdue, Michigan, and UCLA in the RPI, would you have believed it? Just goes to show you how screwed up the RPI, Sagarin, etc... rankings are when trying to slot mid-majors in rankings with the big boys. I don't care how bad the seasons have been for the teams listed above, I'm pretty sure UB would lose to all of them. That being said, hats off to UB. They have an exciting offense, won a couple of big road games and they are going to a bowl game.

I don't know, I think you're underestimating how crappy Michigan is this year and how erratic Notre Dame is. I could definitely see them shocking anyone on that last.
